Mr. Palmer was a great tutor. He was very patient and it was very easy to understand him when he explained a concept. It was great that he wrote notes and important items down for me to remember. He is nice and easy to talk to.

He is very organized, clear, and helpful. He will always reply to emails, and will help you solve problems. He gives very good examples that are common in the industry. He is a funny guy also, who loves karaoke. Just a suggestion, print out those slides and make notes on it during lecture, and also try to study everyday instead of cramming; it is a LOT of material to retain, must practice problems and review concepts everyday.

Best chemistry teacher at Ohlone. Teaches well, clear, fun and makes you enjoy chemistry. But, he isnt easy at all, he wants to be competitive on the university level so will really test you hard. If you plan to take Ochem series at ohlone i recommend him, he knows it well and spends a good amount of time making sure you understand it.

Palmer knows his chemistry and it shows when he is lecturing. It is definitely not the easiest of classes but he really tries to explain the concepts. The classes go by fast, about a chapter per week, so you must really be attentive and fully understand the material to pass the class. His lectures are very long and consists of a lot of writing.

After taking a terrible chem 101A professor, i was skeptical about taking chem 101b over summer. But Palmer is one of the best teachers i have EVER had. He will help you until you get the concept. He is not very hard. He is very knowledgeble and I wished he would teach Ochem. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Really tough. Very British. Often I felt like he was punishing us for Britain losing the Revolution. The C I got in his class probably would have net me at least a B in another. If you want to really master the class... take him.

Not very helpful. He has hard tests, but he doesn't spend enough time in explaining the material to the students. Most of the students dropped the class half way trough the semester because he would humiliate them if they asked questions. He would make all kind of statements ot make the student feel stupid. Don't recomend him. Take other teachers.
