Dr. Metscher is awesome! remember to finish your homework and take-home exam (although it's a little bit heavy writing), you will get an A definitely! No close book exam. He's nice if you have good reasons and need to take days off or turn in homework later. Just make sure always let him know what's going on with you, he's always willing to help.

Incredible professor! Brilliant way of communication, not boring, and full of stories mostly with the U.S. Air Force. Lenient grader, looks for the main points in papers, prefers straight forward over fluff. Very laid back and understanding.

He's a great professor with lots of stories and experience to provide real-world example. His classes tend to be writing-heavy, but that isn't unusual for the degree program. He's relatively easy-going and will work with you if you work with him.

I took him for 3 ATC classes. He is one of the best in the entire COA building. VERY caring. VERY genuine. VERY helpful. The classes are easy if you just review the slides. Tests are STRAIGHT off the slides, and he also points this out to you before the tests. NO reason not to get an A in this class.

The class is great, while it gets a bit dry he goes over alot of material however he tells you exactly what to highlight and what is on the test and if you review those then you're set. Great guy that's willing to help anytime you ask. Two Thumbs Up!

I agree, The BEST in the At department. He's also the new Dept. Chair for AT. Tests are easy, just review slides and the things he tells you to know. The final...you take it if you want and don't if don't want to. He tells you whats going to be on the test. Review the handout and glossary he gives out at the begining on the semester! Nice guy!

Don't keep releasing aircraft when he's told you not to OR beware the flight progress strip across the face. I can see this stuff being hard to non-pilots but for an instrument rated pilot this stuff is a just a review. Mostly just have to show up cuz of attendance policy and tests

Imagine a cross between Rick Moranis and Pete Mitchell. Class was really too easy, it should be intergrated with 300. Glad I had him for class, he made it interesting. He doesn't appreciate tardiness or not showing up.

He is the best teacher at this school by far...He will help you in whatever you need (even if you're not in his classes) He's my advisor, and from day 1, he did everything that he could to help me. He arranged for me to be forced entered into 3/5 classes! If you have the opportunity to take him, do it!!!
