Wolfe brought nothing new to my education and everything he said I already learned in AP in High school 5 years ago. He makes the Renaissance look like rocket science. He stares at the ceiling when he lecture. and when a student challenged his views, he would shrug them off and say it was off topic.

He is a very knowlegeable professor and is excited about the material but this class is a lot of work. The take home tests follow the text in order exactly but take an entire Saturday to complete. The worksheets are a pain, they take at least a couple hours to do every week and he makes you turn them in. I did more work than my senior seminar.

I have been to Rome, and he really sucks the fun out of its history. This class is so boring and you do nothing but worksheets and then talk about them the entire class. I thought this class would be fun and interesting, but it was horribly boring and I ended up falling asleep

This class was so easy. He tells you exactly what is going to be on your tests. You have 3 papers due but you have a chance to write them over if you do not like your grade. He is also very willing to work with you during his office hours. The final was 3 eassay and you got to choose the topic ahead

Ummm...does he know anything about Rome? Yes, some stuff, but not as much as I think he should know, I feel that sometimes I need to educate him on Rome..and I'm the student. I love Roman history, but not sure about this class.

very boring in class. paper and tests very hard. you have to do two tests each with 55 questoins and 3 two page essays. the tests are 400 level tests. two much work for a 100 level cource. do not take.

He's so arrogant and full of himself its nauseating. Grading is inconsistent, and will lose things and blame the student. Ask me - three times it's happened. Filed a complaint. RUN AWAY NOW!
