Comment:

Donna is a wonderful language and lit professor. She is eloquent, well-versed, and motivational. While her class is no cake-walk, she really pushes her students to learn and succeed (something not all professors do!). She is honest. Aside from that, she is all around a lovely person and I hope to take more classes with her.

Incredibly intelligent, professional, and an excellent teacher. She's demanding, and won't take your crap, but one of the best teachers at Beloit. You will learn what you need to and more, and you will love it. She's more serious than Olga, but has a hidden soft and humorous side. She's active outside the class, devoted to her students & wise.

I can't even begin to explain the enigma that is Donna Oliver. I didn't have a class with her one semester and I missed her so much that I did a special project with her. She is an amazing wealth of knowledge and really cares about her students. I love this woman!!!

Comment:

I think Donna my favorite teacher at Beloit. She's not as maternal as Olga, and far less social, but Donna treats students with a level of respect that encourages learning, and is also very honest with us. I've never had to wish she would have a better idea of how to solve an academic problem, in the classroom or in advising.

Donna knows her stuff, and makes her class a lot of fun. She's excelent at explaining basic russian grammar. Fairly tough grader, but as long as you do all your work ontime and with a decent amount of thought you'll be ok.
