This professor is very bad. I am taking his class on a study aboad program. If I could have dropped his class I would have. I don't learn anything from lectures, but only from the TA and some readings. He doesn't know the material himself and borrowed all his slides. Can't answer many student questions. He is perhaps the worst professor i've had.

This class is hard. Professor talks fast, is unclear, and does not give out any review sheets (and final was cumulative). The TA also did not help at all. Read my words: Do not take this class/professor unless you have a keen interest in anthropology, since it does not cover much Economics.

he just really sucks, likes to use big words in his lecture and book as well as test. complicated midterm/final question, and expect u to know stuff in very detail, last midterm 4/5 of the class got 50 or below with 90 maximum

I absolutely hate this class. Professor is unhelpful and accused me of not attending class when I emailed him asking to clearify a concept (and I DO GO TO CLASS). He talks weird too... hate it hate it hate it. avoid this class!!! he gives you a ton of reading that are uncomprehensible!

This was a horrible class. Especially since it was upper division writing. His TA grades and all they do is check grammer. When I asked about the research he avoided the question and kept talking about the grammer. I made 4 grammer errors and got a B on the paper.

if you can memorize the readings word for word...by all means enroll in his classes. paraphrasing on the exams are unacceptable. the ta will mark it wrong (no partial credit) even if you mean the same thing.

very nice teacher. he sincerely wants to be there and loves to teach. just study the study guide and you should do fine. going to class helped me but a lot of people stopped going to class after the midterm and he made the final a bit random.
