If you are not a fan of lectures, don't take Dr. Gotts; however, if you learn well by listening, he's your man. He is kind and loving towards his students and truly wants to make us the best teachers we can be. The student presentations were repetitive and lectures long winded, but he has a great heart.

Great class & great teacher. Very helpful & informative. Learned a lot in the class. Weekly online quizzes & weekly write ups. Final is only exam. Although he can be preachy, Mr. Gotts has a plethora of experience & knowledge to share with future educators. Will definitely take him again in the future.

If you want to go to church, then take Prof. Gotts' class. He basically preaches the whole time about his beliefs, and then sits on the table and talks about NOTHING it was THE MOST BORING CLASS EVER.. I have had him for about 3 different classes, and have gotten A's in all of them for doing absolutely nothing. Easy A, but pointless.

closed-minded man. boring lectures. if you want to be motivated in the educational field, I strongly recommend that you NOT take his class--you will want to leave. he will bring up his family as examples in every possible situation. i am surprised the man isn't retired.

Easy A and so easy. Didn't learn much and really boring. He does poorly on lectures. Great stories that he reads. No note taking, weekly tests on the internet that you can take as many times as you can to get 100%. No midterm and open book, notes anything on the final. There are weekly homework assigned and are easy to do. He is very understanding

Dr. Gotts is the worst professor I've ever had! He preaches to the class about his beliefs and incorporates God in the discussion. Totally inappropriate for the class! He's boring, the quizzes online suck and are quite difficult, and he definitely grades subjectively. I DO NOT recommend him b/c I learned nothing worthwhile from his class.
