Dr. Armstrong was a really good teacher but she was a very harsh grader. She would take many points off for simple mistakes. She is also not always very clear in her directions so if you have questions make sure to ask.

Really great professor! She is a very very hard grader and points will be taken off for the smallest of details, but that may help more in the future with easier profs! She really knows what she's teaching and clearly works outside of class to prepare to teach as best as she can. Her keyboard skills seem pointless but really do help!!

Heather Armstrong is a great professor, I've really enjoyed taking music theory from her this year. She's a tough grader, but it's perfect if you want to learn. She's a little awkward at first, but once you start joking with her, she jokes right back. She seems to genuinely enjoy teaching and watching her students get better.

Really good professor. One of the best profs at Luther, to the person saying she's not helpful and clear.. maybe you're just not a very bright person, because I don't think anybody can explain things as clearly as she does.

Prof. Armstrong is a wonderful professor who really cares about her students and their progress in her classes. She explains things very clearly and is willing to help anyone who is struggling. She's one of Houghton's best.
