I had a really interest in Polish before this class and Prof. Ewa helped that interest to flourish. She is kind, helpful, takes the time to answer questions, and supports anyones interest in Polish. I would recommend her to anyone who wishes to learn Polish and potentially join Poland's expanding economy.

Eva is one of the nicest professors you will ever encounter at GVSU. She genuinely cares so much about each of her students and would do anything to help you succeed in Polish. I only have wonderful things to say about both this professor and her classes. If you ever have the chance to take a course with her, don't think twice!

She is very nice and she really does have a passion to teach Polish. If you need something to be repeated, she's more than happy to do it. You're success in the class is what she aims for. What's nice about the class is that she makes comments about life in Poland. There never is a boring day in this class.

Professor Lewak not only taught us how to speak polish but she also taught us about Poland. I really enjoyed the mini history lessons! My family immigrated from Poland around 1830 and we have always remained proud of our heritage. I would definitely recommend this class!

Ewa has been my favorite professor of the modern language department at gvsu. She is very helpful and very easy to get in touch with when you need extra help. Her class has made it very easy to understand the polish language. Her classes have been interesting and have made learning polish fun. Polish at gvsu is excellent.

She is seriously awesome! While she makes the class easy, polish is not a easy language to learn. If you do the work though, you'll get an A no problem. I would only say clarity isn't a 5 simply due to the fact that she is actually from Poland and so she doesn't always seem to explain things clearly right away, but she does a really great job!!!

Eva was extremely helpful, and is one of the kindest people i've ever met. She knows that we are there, wanting to learn her native language, and she makes sure we learn it :) She is kind, respectful, and funny. I have NOTHING disrespectful or bad to say about Eva. Awesome class! Ewa is great and teaches Polish well. She's a lot of fun! Polish isn't that hard, at least I didn't think so. If you memorize the vocab, its easy to get an A. She doesn't cram TONS of memorizing down your throat either.

I ended up working in Poland after taking her class. Everyting that she taught was very useful and helpful when I lived there. Not only did we learn Polish language but also Polish customs and traditions. I thought the class was very helpful.

Ewa is a very good teacher and always has something funny to comment about or say. She does make Polish very easy for you if you've never taken it before. However, be prepared because Polish is an extremely difficult language. So, do your stuff and you'll be fine. Plus, she lets you re-do quizzes!!
