Dr. Levy is a fantastic professor! She is very kind and accessible outside of class. In this course, she always worked with me on the projects I was needing to complete. She is also a great lecturer, not always completely organized, but great. Dr. Levy is also surprisingly hilarious. I would take a class with her again any time.

Anchor 214 was a boring gen ed class but Dr. Levy made it tolerable. Her lectures could be dry but she is concise and is always willing to take questions. Her grading is not easy but is fair.

Dr. Levy is extremely knowledgeable and a joy to learn from. At times, I thought she could have made the class more entertaining, as it was very straight forward and her methods of teaching aren't always creative or engaging. Still, my French improved and that was my main goal.

Levy co-taught this class with another professor and her lectures were slightly dull in comparison. Her lectures focused on literature related to the class and if you didn't read the material the time passes slowly. However, she clearly is an expert on the subject and enjoys teaching it.

She comes off very cold but is pretty nice. Very hard grader on grammar, ended up dropping becausing I was scoring so low on that part of my papers! I have never gotten lower than a B- before this class.

Very "East Coast" and also shows influence of a more formal Francophone culture, which can lead people to mistake her for being haughty. Be patient, polite, and a good student and you'll see just how warm, committed, and easygoing she actually is.
