He is an excellent teacher. However he may be hard marker sometimes, he is fair if you show that you want to learn. He gives a lot of homework, but it made me study more and I think it was good for me as ESL student.

He have never used eCentennial and I did't know my marks till the end of term. Always forgot to check his e-mail box. Almost all students in our class have bad marks. I have D+ on his subject when I always studied and, as example, have A on all other subject.

I found Mr. Charles to be an extremely fair marker. If you did the work he gave you the mark you deserved. I found him to be funny and made the three hour class much easier to sit through.

At first he seemed to be a great teacher. Easy, funny and laid back. But thats just the problem. He's too laid back, was behind on content and marks seemed to drop because he was more focused on impressing the students with his "jokes" rather than knowledge. Not very helpful when it comes to late assignments. Switch if youre serious about school

one of the worst teachers in college, if you get into this class I suggest you drop or switch ASAP, he makes jokes thinking he is funny, and if you don't laugh he's just going to bash on you. NEVER EVER TAKE COM171 WITH THIS TEACHER, MOST USELESS TEACHER EVER IMO
