A terrible professor who makes the UC CompSci department look like an utter joke, which it is. She has two tests, which are based off the ppt slides that come with the professor edition of the textbook that are extremely vague. She knows nothing about IT or computer networks. She has difficulty switching inputs on the projector in the classroom.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Alot of students fail her class. Way to much work and way to difficult for a core class. Too much arrogance to deal with also. Take CSC 117.

Very nice lady, but not suited for Network security or even intro. She is a good math teacher. Not in tune with IT today. Mostly multiple choice tests. BIG on memorization of definitions and notes. If you can regurgatate what she says you can have an A. Anything outside that is a D. If you talk over her head you can get an A. Just teach her !

This teacher if you can call her a teacher and not laugh knows so little about the topic it's painfull for students entering the class with even basic information to their credit. If you can dumb everything down and talk to her she still thinks she knows just about everything regardless of the fact students know more. Avoid this class like ganaherpasyphillus

One of the hardest classes I've taken at UC. Don't know how I got a B, much less pass the midterm. Use her office hours, I think that is why I did so well in the end, I was there twice a week. Go to class and her office hours, do your homework, and you should be fine.

Although I did well, this class and this professor was torture. She's arrogant, she thinks she knows a lot, and in reality, knows nothing. She's unapproachable and stubborn. Whatever you get, you get, there's no change in grades, even if you're right.

She serves no greater purpose than to act as a mouthpiece for the textbook. Has absolutely no knowledge of hands-on network security experience beyond Win2k, and even that much is limited. Lectures only concepts w/no practice. Unbearably disappointing :-(
