Really interesting course (Rock and Rap as Cultural Phenomena)Used an online textbook the short chapters, online videos and soundbreaking series. 33 quizzes, straight from book and short, midterm, final, series of short questions and answers. Decent amount of work in a short period of time but not impossible. Professor is great.

Professor Kunkel is an amazing professor. All you have to do is show up to class, take notes, and listen. He is very understanding and his lectures are funny and amazing. I highly recommend him.

This class is so easy! There is barely any work involved. He will give you four easy listening quizzes and two easy assignments. You do not need the textbook at all. He is extremely generous with grading and he will help you if you need it. He is also very fun and looks like Mick Foley.

class was alright just watched a movie all semester. but then he does throw a crazy ass final at you, does not use the book at all but for the final you will need it. he does have sporadic temper tantrums so watch out and dont get on his bad side because he remembers when grading

Dr. Kunkel is a great guy! Funny as hell and easy! You watch a DVD for months and it's great, no one ever showed up, he writes the notes for you and you copy them, and then **** students copied my notebook. Don't buy the book! You can easily copy any questions that reference the book by some dumb freshman that you will be sitting next to you.

This guy is easy. You watch a DVD which can be boring, and have to do one paper which requires you to go to a Jazz club. You can use your notes on the tests, and as long as you go and get the notes, it's easy. I would recommend.

Seriously stop crying, this is the easiest class you will ever take. All you have to do is teach the class how to do ANYTHING and do a presentation on ANYTHING. if you have ears and a brain, you can pass the final, honestly. seriously i hope you never become a teacher, and i doubt you'll ever graduate if you can't get an A in this class.

This guy is a total putz. He looks like Mick Foley which is hilarious, i cant take this guy seriously. he doesnt teach you anything, we spent all of sept. and oct. watching a PBS dvd on jazz..then he tests us on 6 chapters in the over priced jazz book. it's a waste of time and money...

I think this was the best class I've had so far this guy is great. He knows everthing there is to know about jazz and he's not afraid to share it with others. I hate to miss his class because I know that I've missed quality entertainment. As far as test go he tries to make them simple

Easy A. His tests come right from the notes, and he gives open notebook tests which are supereasy. The lectures can get boring at times, but I would still recommend this guy to anyone, especially if you are just looking for an A.
