I was never a science person, and science was always a tough subject for me, but taking Mind & Brain as a GAR really felt like I understood the subject and worked for the grade i received. Such a wonderful accepting professor and if I weren't in my senior year I would change my entire major for the level of interest I found in this course.

Jeremy is a FANTASTIC teacher. Our FYS was mostly discussion, so there wasn't much lecture. DO THE READING. The papers were easy enough, and he was open to interpretation of the prompts. Take any class you can with him!

Fantastic professing, very into the material, and the class itself was mind blowing (no pun intended). I would recommend that everybody at Muhlenberg take Mind and Brain, as it applies to all faculties of life.

Before you graduate, you must take a class with Jeremy. He is by far my favorite professor at Muhlenberg. He is definitely not an easy A but you will learn a lot in the class. He loves the material he teaches so much and respects every student. He is always willing to meet with his students about the class or life in general. Just a great person

Comment:

Charisma is the first word that usually comes to mind when I think of Jeremy. I always find his classes to be engaging, and his knowledge of neuroscience is expansive. His teaching style, even in a lecture setting, is pretty relaxed. He will definitely make you work for your grade, and his tests can be challenging. But I would highly recommend him!

He's a charismatic, intelligent, approachable guy. I took this course not knowing what it would be like and it has quickly become one of my favorite courses I've taken in my time at muhlenberg. He is funny, occasionally goes on fascinating tangents and has an impressive mastery of his subject material. TAKE HIS CLASSES

His cynicism makes one'a opinions feel overshadowed. I love my neuro classes but try to avoid Jeremy if possible. He seems genuine...at first. Tough grader but still possible to do well.

Jeremy is an awesome dude. Really down to earth, intelligent, funny, and very approachable. He taught a very provocative FYS this past year and I really liked our class discussions and reading material. He grades based on improvement of papers as well as class participation. Take interest in the subject and you'll do fine.

I was his lab assistant for his first semester at Berg and he is a totally cool guy! His classes are interesting and fun and so are his labs. Plus he's always there to help you out and is a really cool guy to just chat with.

Awesome professor. He helped me to self-design my Neuroscience major before they had one at Muhl. He is the most intelligent, genuine, and amiable people I have ever known. I had two classes and did summer research with him. I can't say enough about him.
