Comment:

Tons of work and very little time between sections. He is a very critical grader and grammar is a must. Huge final paper and class was online so very little interaction. He woukd upload modules and you would need to read or watch a movie and do the Assignment. Work hard and do the assignments an A is possible. Just be prepared to work.

I had Mr. Jensen for HUM101 also and I've never had a better professor. He gets to know his students and he's so funny and caring! He 110% knows his stuff and teaches the course so well! HIGHLY recommend!

Keith is so funny and kind, and he made this class such a great experience! During the first half of the semester, he lectured about interesting topics. For the rest of the class, you work on and present a 2 day project thats not as bad as it seems. Just make sure to come to class and participate, youll lose points from your grade if you dont

Comment:

I'm not usually the one to rate professors, however, he deserves credit. He's fun to be around and makes class interesting. He sings, dances, acts, and makes jokes so you're able to stay engaged. Yes it's a lot of work but honestly, Show up to everything and you're fine. The work isn't too bad if you do a little at a time.

From the first day he basically admitted he did not know how to teach the class and put the responsibility on the students to find information and teach the class with their group for two entire classes per group. He claimed it was too much history for him to be able to cover as if students could do any better than him. Just lazy and wont teach.

Mr. Jensen was my absolute favorite professor this past semester. He was so funny and acts out his lectures. He gives amazing feedback on your papers and makes sure you understand everything he's talking about. You can tell Mr. Jensen is an expert in his field!

He is an amazing teacher the extra credit will save your grade if youre struggling or Just help if you think youre going to do bad on the final. You may fall asleep during his lectures but he does his best. THERE IS NO WAY YOU SHOULD GET BELOW AN A.

I always read Rate My Professors to hopefully get a good professor and I can genuinely say Keith is awesome. Although there are a lot of papers and reading material, he cares about the success of his students. If you have to take a HUM class take Keith! (Oh, and be prepared for his crazy, but good personality)

I dont say this much but honestly one of the best and one of my favorite professors at Harper! He made the class interesting. All quizzes were online and the midterm and final were online also. I would definitely take another course with Keith.

Keith is one of the best professors I have taken for Humanities. I am someone that likes to have autonomy and freedom in class, and he truly appreciates that. He will allow the students to become the teachers. This is a great method of learning because it makes us better retain the info. Great learning experience!

He himself isn't a bad teacher, but the amount of work he assigns is insane. It's a humanities class that most kids take for an easy A, but his class is not easy. There are 4 essays due over the course, then a final project with a 5-page rationale. Then an actual final, along with a 2-page essay on a film and a 4-page essay on all the books.

Professor Jensen is a great guy. He is really enthusiastic about the material and his lectures reflect that. I took his 8AM section, but he was able to keep the entire class engaged. People who don't like to write should beware. At the end of the semester he assigns a nine-page paper and a six-page paper, worth 50% of your grade

Jensen was hilarious, and his class was very interesting. The books were too but I sometimes felt overwhelmed with the reading and the essays. I did really good on the final even though I barely read any of the books. Also, I really liked how he would grant extensions for most of the papers. He even offered easy extra credit!

All of these comments are on point. Great jokes from Keith, harry potter references and such. Easy A if you do the readings and attend class (for attendance points). Extra credit opportunities and open book tests! Only reason I received a B is because I didnt do an essay.

Tries to make boring content entertaining. He will stay after class to help students that ask. All of his exams are take-home. He tries to do things that will make it stick in your mind. We had a party on the last day of class.

Comment:

Mr. Jensen is a man with a strong sense of charisma and greek knowledge. Attendance is mandatory, we always had to do a sign in sheet. Participation counts and if you don't he becomes an ogre and compares you to the walking dead. He is nice and comes with witty remarks. But the museum paper was one of the longest that I had to write.

He is absolutely great! He is always trying to help his students as much as he can and he seems like he genuinely cares. Show up to class and do the quizzes on Revel and you will pass. There is a 12 page paper but he gives you enough time to complete it. I highly recommend Mr. Jensen.
