This man will give you a 9/10 or more on every lab. If you don't understand a question you can ask him about it and he will give you the entire answer. The 3 hour labs took around an hour to an hour and a half every time. He is chill and enjoys being there.

I had Reinstein for my Chem Lab. He was a nice guy, tried to make everybody laugh. He was not that clear on instructions for labs, but also helped you if you needed it. He would also do difficult parts of the lab at the beginning for you. Three hour lab took no more than an hour to an hour an a half.

Guy below is bitter. Reinstein is by far the most helpful and nicest professor you will meet on campus. He wants you to succeed and did everything in his power for our class. This is his last semester however for real this time. Hate to see a nice person like this go.

Horrible teacher. Great teacher if you already know how to do it already. He assumes this of you anyway. Didn't learn anything in his class. Doesn't explain why things are what they are nor uses more than one example to explain it. Doesn't even complete the example all the way through. Let's hope the big grading curve saves our grades.

Take him, hands down. Gave up to 14% credit back on some exams. Will do everything in his power to make sure you succeed. Put some studying effort into it and the class is a breeze. Hands out note outlines at the beginning of the semester for you. Posts previous semester exams and examples, actual tests closely mirror these.

TAKE REINSTEIN. If you're taking chem for engineers, it's hard no matter who you take it with, but reinstein is by far the best. Big curves on tests, extra credit quizzes, practice exams like the real ones, and a HUGE CURVE on the final.

Jesse Reinstein is not young, but he's hip. He's a sweet guy. Willing to help you and approachable. He rambles on sometimes and it's kinda confusing but funny. Class gets a little boring sometimes but he jokes around a lot so its okay.

He is probably the best chem for engineers teacher in platteville. He moves fast but the class itself is very fast. It is hard material but he teaches it in a fun way. Labs are not bad at all and never come close to 3 hours at all. Very fair grader, practice tests are very similar to exams. Make sure to study for the exams and you will get an A.

I learn fast, so I don't have a problem in his class, even tho some do, because he does go thru really fast. It's nice not to have to listen to an entire lecture of stuff you already know. College should be like that- If you get lost in class, or don't understand something simple, you should catch up on your own time. He's a funny guy, too.

He is a good professor and gives a hell of a curve on all his tests. usually 8 to 15%!! Tests are just like practice tests, but he goes over things fast. Need to keep up. Overall, a good prof, but he will be retiring very soon, if not this semester!
