Comment:
Lots of negatives about this professor. She is unhelpful, in her office once a week for one hour total. Her lectures are all over the place, and her teaching style is odd. She laughs in between every few words, so it's hard to pay attention anyway. The exams are tough and you must pay attention in class to do well. Worst professor yet

If you do the readings for when they are assigned, you should be fine, but merely going to lecture without doing the readings might get you low scores on tests. She's helpful during office hours and open to questions. She is knowledgeable about the material, and has a pretty healthy sense of humor.

Im not sure why she has gotten such high ratings. Im pretty sure she is the secretly satan incarnated. SHe is the craziest, narrowminded professor I have ever encountered. She is incredibly boring and useless.

Incredibly clear and knowledgeable. Her expectations are straightforward and if you do what she asks, you will get a good grade. I learned a lot in this class and enjoyed it far more than I thought I would.

DR. SAVAGE IS FAIRLY INTERESTING. SHE LECTURES THE ENTIRE CLASS THOUGH. SHE IS LOOPY AND SLIGHLY AWKWARD, BUT KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. TESTS ARE HARD! WOULD RECOMMEND THE CLASS OVERALL.

Professor Savage's class is great fun, even though it's entirely lecture, and it's not very difficult. I learned all kinds of interesting things about justice and crime. Though the class is called "History and Philosophy of Criminology," note that she focuses almost exclusively on the philosophy part.

Very knowledgable lady whos insight made the class much more enjoyable. The tests are kind of difficult, but the study guides and fact that there are 3 or 4 makes it not so bad. Has some fascenating opinions on criminal justice, but this class should not be mandatory for Law & Society majors, its much more justice orentated.

She's batty as hell but not a bad professor. Her presentations are very clear and she has lots of interesting stories. We have two exams (which aren't too difficult) and an optional essay.
