Hubbard is an interesting professor. Very blunt. Had a great time in the class however it's hard to tell what he wants and he doesn't really look at what you're doing. Grades really tough. Wish he would give suggestions before grading as tough as he does.

a great teacher, laid-back, relaxed classes. art is very subjective, and it's up to the student to take initiative and work. john facilitates and encourages this, and accepts all kinds of art.

John is really open to anything and accepting to any style of art, which is great. If you stink at drawing and painting he tries to make the most out of your effort. Hardly any work... A painting due every other week.

very helpful, sometimes when he demonstrates he gets a little caught up in what he is doing, but he is an artist after all. will usually let you do your own thing but can be a tough grader.
