Although, it was an 8:40 class, I cannot tell you how incredibly excited I was to attend her class. Professor Nishii is a source of inspiration. Her energy and passion are unparalleled. Take her class if you are interested in International Human Resource Management.

Prof. Nishii, is soo sexy. Omg. She is wonderful and helpful. Tests are somewhat tricky but there is a strong B+, A- curve. Be sure to be careful with the essays. The key to these 3pg papers is to get a prelim copy done and submit for critique. Basically, TA or Nishii will spell out what you need to put in for an A. Prof Def knows her stuff.

you dont really have to go to class, but who would want to anyway, as it is primarily a review of all the OB classes (ILR requirements). much like ob, mostly common sense, stupid stuff. prof nishii is not very personable, she is often unreasonable with religious observance and asking questions in general. sorry ilr kids that you cant avoid her

Dosen't know how to write a test...always asks vague questions and gets tons of complaints/appeals. Picky grading on writing assignments, which are time consuming and you pretty much have to do every week. You don't have to do the most of thereading cause you get a study guide outlining specifically which info you are responsible for.

You never have to go to lecture, only section for participation grade. Her exams are too picky and she doesnt test you on major concepts, only on small nonsense facts. She eased up with her grading after we all complained, but she still sucks. Dont do any reading or work, its pointless, and youll still prob get a good grade.

This class is ridiculous - she tries to make it serious by having hard tests (which are biased because different versions are more difficult than others) and being very picky on the writing assignments. It's HR, for heaven's sake - she tries to make it "fun" and "interesting", but if you know that it's total BS you're bored very easily.

this class is so easy it's a joke. nish is cool, but she only kisses your ass cause she's looking to get tenure. she seems nice but after the course is over she won't keep in touch with you. if possible, take this class in the SPRING when it's in a small setting. Don't take it in lecture... the tests are much harder.

Lectures are not well connected. Guidelines to homework are bad plus add no value to the study. Assignments and questions in exam are more to test one what you don't remember rather than what you know. And u will be penalized for forget a single point. Don't learn much from the class. Very disappointed.

Nishii is such a sweetheart-definitely worth getting to know in O.H. No gray areas as far as test coverage; she gives explicit exam review sheets. You will never fall asleep in her class- she's very easy to listen to and actually makes the material interesting to the point where you'll want to go to class. DEFINITELY take HR260!
