Comment:

Ms. Sigmann is a nice lady but this lab was the most difficult class I've taken at App. Pre-lab quizzes were pretty hard and she grades lab reports quite harshly. Overall, hard class but I think Ms. Sigmann is a kind, fun, and likable person.

Comment:

She is very funny during pre-lab and she always keeps everything interesting even though it is chemistry. She helped a lot during lab and as long as you do your work and follow her guidelines, you will do fine in her class. Definitely take her!

She is definitely not the sweetest person and I doubt I will ever take her again, but she is there and she will help if you need it, unless the lab is an unknown. Just be prepared for when you ask a question, she will give a condescending answer. She also makes me feel stupid and I'm a chem major...

Ms. Sigmann is the worst... She does not help you when you need help and only makes things more confusing. She made me want to drop chemistry lab.. That's how bad she was. Her prelab lectures are unrelated to the actual lab and she expects you to do things you have never learned before perfectly. I would say to avoid her if you can.

She is literally the worst. I had her for chem lab and she is one of the least helpful and meanest people I know. She talks for an hour in prelab about things that are completely irrelevant. She posts pre-lab assignments only a day or two in advanced and tries to sound really smart.... she isn't.

Sigmann was a very entertaining woman and I got along well with her, however, she is not a good lab instructor. She would post the templates 2 days before the lab was due and expect us to have it done on time. She grades a lot more difficult than other teachers in the department. And she wasn't really involved in explaining the prelab.

Dr. Sigmann is like most professors I have had. THE MATERIAL IS NOT SPOON FED TO YOU! The students actually have to do a little work and read the lab prior to class to understand what it was about (Who knew?). Great professor and wished she taught my CHE 1101 Lecture!

Best science teacher I've had! She explains the material very thoroughly, while making sure the class is on the same page. I highly recommend her for any science course. She's exactly what a professor should be!

Professor Sigmann is an AMAZING teacher. She does such an excellent job at conveying information to her students and preparing you for exams. I highly recommend. Very helpful. No curve but different, more flexible grading scale.

Dr. Sigmann is a pretty cool lady and a huge help if you need it. She made Chemistry easier to understand and relates well with students. Easy to talk to and a fair grader. I got a C in Chemistry lecture and an A in her class. Suggest taking her with this course.

doesn't explain material well. Rarely anyone passes the second test. The C range is enormous. You might pass with a C because of this. If the C range were normal no one would pass...which means you won't learn anything in this class.

I've got her for both General Science Chemistry and the Lab. She's very approachable. Makes the class fun. And even though it's 8 am, she'll keep you awake. Might not want to sit on the front row. She likes to do experiments in class; is very hands on.

Hilarious. I left Chem Lab everyday with a smile, no many times I almost blew up the place!! Ha, J/K. She makes Lab enjoyable and a fun place to work and learn. Be ready to type all your lab reports. She is always there if you need help--Ask Questions!
