She's very kind,nice,sweet,caring and what not. Expects a lot from you.But is kind of tough,gives a lot of homework and kind of picks on you if you suck at french.Makes you feel bad if you miss class but later understands why you missed her class if you tell her why.Most of the quizzes are from books and thats the best thing of this class.

Comment:

Prof. Etienne is great. At times, the workload she assigns can be hard, but she is always willing to help if you seek it out. Although she sometimes jumps around in class, you will see a significant improvement in your French skills if you put in the effort. She is very kind and I believe she genuinely wants her students to do well and love French.

Amazing, inspiring, extraordinary intelligent. She's tough but has a way of getting you to come up with theologies and explanations that you never knew you could create. Her teaching is less telling you what things are but more having you figure it out for yourself. She's an artist and a world traveller. You can learn so much about life from this woman. I miss her.

This teacher team taught the class with another teacher; bad idea, as they could never agree upon any deadlines, criteria, or purpose of the assignments; she was nice, and had some interesting moments, but I feel as if the team teaching made the students' lives difficult.
