Comment:

Dr. Battaglia wants her students to succeed! She is very knowledgeable about what she teaches. The lectures are dry and boring, but her exams are directly from the powerpoints and she tells you exactly what to study. Can earn an extra 6% onto your final grade if you do the extra credit. An easy A if you attend the class and take the lab with it!

Comment:

Difficult material but if you read the book and go to lecture it helps. Also go to office hours and ask for help, extremely willing to give help when students ask for it. Offers an extra credit paper and extra credit pop quizzes. She knows her stuff and really wants her students to do well.

Comment:

I went to all the lectures and spent a solid 0 minutes spending any time studying for this class and still got an A. Her grading scale is weird and an A has to be a 95 or above but if you do the extra credit you get an extra 6% added to your final grade.. Most of the class was common sense and exam questions come directly off her powerpoints.

Comment:

Dr. Battaglia took a subject which I thought was going to be awful and made it actually enjoyable. She is big on attending class gives extra credit if you attend all but up to three classes and if you arrive early she has pop extra credit quizzes. I found her class to be hard but interesting.

Extremely Challenging class. Lectures are kind of dry. GO TO OFFICE HOURS. she is a huge help if you go to early and ask for it.... if not you will fade away.

Don't take if you like being told you're stupid for 20 minutes each class. VERY interesting material just don't take this professor. Her voice is so old and annoying and lectures drag on and on.

This professor's lectures are dry as a bone. In my hour and fifteen minute class she wasted at least 15 minutes per class telling us how difficult the class is. If the class is so incredibly difficult and only bioneuro majors will scrape by, wouldn't our time be best spent going over the material for the whole class period

Class is easy enough everything on exam comes from powerpoints online. Extra credit opportunities for up to 6%I actually think the debate made the class easier

All exams were based off from her power points; so if you really study those you will definitely do well, plus your lowest test grade will be dropped. She gives out opportunities for extra credit, not that much, but its something. In her classes she either has summaries or debates. Thankfully my class did the summary, which were easy points.

She is a very difficult professor to follow in terms of lectures. She scares you into having a low expectation of yourself the first day. Very difficult and dry subject matter. She is however, very knowledgeable of the subject.

Great class. The professor makes it easy to understand the material, but you do have to read the textbook and her powerpoint slides. Her exams cover exactly what is on her slides. She's willing to answer questions and repeat what people don't understand. You can tell she is passionate about teaching the material.

Dry lecture her voice can be unbearable (old). Extra credit opportunities. 4 exams- 2 CHAPS each. She loves her subject and wants you to understand not always helpful but repeats for emphasis. Exams are straight from lecture slides she copies & pastes from textbook so its not that needed. Sign in sheet every class for attendance.

The material is easy and she tests off her PowerPoint, so just study those (especially the stuff she bolds). However, we were extremely behind and she got frustrated any time we asked when something was due or when tests would be. She wasn't very organized when it came to snow days disrupting the schedule. But, it's an easy class.

Dr. B was a very challenging teacher but you will learn a lot! It is not an easy class but as long as you study the slides and attend class you will be fine. There is 1 optional research paper you can do for xtra credit. 4 exams and a cumulative final (optional). Overall a fantastic professor!

Dr. B was a challenging teacher but I have learned so much. She is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and wants you to do well. The 4 Exams are straight from the slides. And there is one optional research paper you can do for extra credit. This class is hard, but as long as you show up to class and study the slides for exams you will do well.

She's very degrading, and always seems to repeat herself. Especially when doubting your capabilities to do well in her class. Exams are tough, you gotta really study the slide notes or you'll be lucky to get a B.
