This class was alright. Easy enough to pass if you do all of the work on your own. He expects everyone to be as fluent as him, and laughs at you when you are unsure of the answer. There was a quiz almost every class, but the tests are pretty easy, just long. If you're good at spanish, take him. If not, think about another professor.

All he does is read the stories in class and talk about them in spanish. He assumes everyone is as fluent as he is. i taught myself the whole course. didn't get to write or speak. just read stupid stories and take vocab tests. ok professor if you can teach yourself most of the material. i read an entire chelsea handler book during his class once

Great guy. Class is just reading stories, and all you do is go over them in class, which makes class boring. As long as you study vocab (make notecards!) and listen to what the story is about, you will do fine on the tests. Easy class for people who have forgotten spanish bc all you need to do is listen.

I had him for Translation Techniques, and though he is a very nice man, the class was pretty boring. It was always the same thing everyday... going through assignments in the txtbook and going over vocab. The quizzes and test are pretty easy though.

I love Dr. Mount! He is so sweet and funny. His class was the easiest Spanish class I have EVER taken! I always looked forward to his class. It was the only class I didnt skip all semester, and thats saying something.

I have had Dr. Mount for every class I have taken here at the Dub...from 201 to 306 and I have signed up for him next semester as well! He is AWESOME!!!! Very clear, very understanding, very enthusiastic...very helpful...really good.. no joke.

I've had him for 2 classes now, and I liked him more the second time around- he is a very nice man and his tests are fairly simple. I would recommend him over many of the spanish teachers at UNCW- the good ones are few and far between.

Professor is very nice and seems to care about his students a lot. Goes beyond what many professors would do to help the class prepare for tests. The material is very boring for Spanish Civilization...so just know that! But the professor is very sweet and helpful :)
