Kinda crazy but she's not bad. Easy going. No homework. Tests can be tricky because they are usually minute facts, but it's not a hard class to pass and she's not a bad teacher to take.

I personally found her teaching style easy to learn from. It helped that she had a sense of humor. She had a way of conveying the abstract concepts that she had to teach. She made clear her expectations of the class and beyond the call of duty to explain things we didnt understand

I really enjoyed taking this class. Mrs. Ford was an absolute delight to have. She makes a lot of jokes and really makes an effort to ensure you understand the material you learn. So long as you read the textbook, take notes, study, and go to the two concert attendances, I don't see why you wouldn't pass this class. Highly recommend this professor!

This teacher is extreamly hard. I took her while i was pregnant went to all my classes, I went into labor the last week of class missed my final and she failed me. I would not recommend taking this teacher at all. She is not friendly and got smart with the students sometime.

I entered this class expecting a COLLEGE music course. She is amazing! Very passionate about the subject and clear. I have no prior music experience and dont believe she showed anyone favoritism. If she failed to mention something on test she gives you that point. She has test reviews, requires concert attendance and if you study its an easy A.

Surprisingly difficult class. The teacher goes heavily into music theory and generally assigns a hell of a lot of work for this type of class. I also didn't care for her at all on a personal level- she was extremely abrupt with some students and her lectures were boring.

Not a fun time if your not already musically inclined. She isn't cool with people coming in late or leaving early and will call you out. Wasn't a big fan of her grading style on papers (would mark off 10-20% without a reason). I personally thought she showed some pretty heavy favoritism toward students with prior music experience vs ones without.

AWESOME!!! great teacher, made the class fun and exciting. All you have to do to pass the class is attend and study her reviews, she is very easy. It is hard not to pass with a good grade.

Prof Ford makes sure you never go in blind for a test or quiz. She always gives study guides with a few of the questions! Make sure you study the song selections for each chapter. 2 concert attendance reports are expected, but she grades fair. Attendance is mandatory and extra credit offered! She can be funny too!

One of my top 3 favorite professors (I've had 13)! Very personable, has a relaxed lecture style that is chatty/conversational. Loved to watch how she paid individual attention to EACH person in class. If I taught, I'd love to teach like she does! I knew very little about music, and learned everything I wanted and then some. Wish she taught more!

Great teacher & very helpful. There are two concert attendance and one outside listening project. Very strict tardiness policy รข€" Do Not Be Late. This class is not an easy A, but if you study the material and put in the extra effort you will get an A, plus you'll learn something. Recommended.

Very helpful and gives resources for 2 concert attendance. Excellent test review, written part is done at home. Gives extra credit and exempts you from the final exam if she thinks you a few points away from an A. BE ON TIME, do the work and you won't have any problems in this class.

If you are looking for an easy A this is not the Professor for you. But if you want to learn something this is the class for you. You will earn the grade you get. She is a great professor and I highly recommend you take her class. She is really funny. You will have 2 outside concerts and a project. GREAT test reveiws.
