Henry always made class interesting. He'd give a lot of homework assignments just about every week but they were interesting and made you think. The field trips to the park were a blast.

Comment:

Henry is a great statistics instructor. He made a boring subject interesting and I learned a lot from this class. This is a required course so there are lots of kids who hate it and hate him for being the teacher. Stop the hating! This guy is a great teacher!!!

He is a terrible professor with almost zero respect for his field. I took his Winter Term, Social Justice and Inequality. He was offensive, made a student cry in the middle of their final presentation, and made several ignorant comments and slurs (All of which were said seriously). DO NOT take his classes.

I honestly loved having him. He's hilarious and very approachable and is always there to help you if you need it. I learned a lot and he made statistics fun. He usually gets bored and lets you out 15 minutes early which is also a plus. But follow his advice and DON'T MISS CLASSES but definitely take this class.

Worst professor I've had at Eckerd by far. Made us read the entire text book & exams would be on everything from ch 1-13 or 14-27 with no other guidelines. He talked about nothing useful in class & spent a huge amount of class time talking about himself & showing pictures from his vacations. Very rude to students, don't even bother asking for help.

He was interesting. He seemed a little unaproachable at first but he was a nice guy. His tests were hard sometimes because he often didn't tell you what you needed to know, he would just say everything in chapter this through that. After he saw that was too vague he gave a better idea of what was needed and everyone improved.

Henry is a tough nut because he expects you to understand the basics of sociology and won't baby you if you didn't take the prereq. He's phenomenal, though and keeps conversations tough, intellectual, and interesting. His tests are some of the hardest I've taken, but if you put in the effort and read the material, you'll do well.

although he was very entertaining, he was a terrible teacher and just lectured about stupid things the whole time. it was really boring and really lost my interest in what i wanted to do. also his tests are super hard & was not that available to help.

I really enjoyed Prof Henry's classes. He was very approachable and knew a lot about his topics. You really have to study for his tests in some of the classes though, lots of essay exams which I like.

I am sorry, but I need to show a little support for my favorite professor at Eckerd. I've had a class with him every sememster since I was a freshman and he's by far been the most influential professor to my studies. So, if you've taken one class with him, don't be so judgmental. He rocks!

Professor HEnry is a geat professor. If you actually understand the philosophy behind the way he teaches you would agree as well. Henry is a very smart professor that many do not understand because he does not use the typical teaching philosophy
