This professor has by far the most easiest tests. Straight from the textbook and notes (50/50). Same questions just reorganized, literally the same verbiage. He was really funny too. BUT the down side is that it is all hand written notes, and he writes kinda fast and sloppy. If you want to pass and can do some studying, take him!

If youre serious about learning Microbiology stay away. 95% is lecture/handwritten notes and 5% is time to review the previous lab experiments and setting up new ones. At the end of the lecture most people were clueless on what to do and rushing. The notes are not very organized and you spend so much time writing that you cant listen and learn.

Honestly, Professor Dalto seems like a nice guy but, DO NOT take his lab. He talks for 2 straight hours and never shows anything about the lab or how to do it. All board written notes, no powerpoints or textbook references. I was lost all semester taking his lab; he's super unorganized and no one ever knew what was going to be on the practicals.

DO NOT TAKE FOR LAB! lectures 1-2hours before lab. Does not demonstrate the lab or really tell you how to do it. No one ever knows whats going on EVER. All handwritten notes no powerpoints. There are much better lab teachers. Lecture hes the best because he's the easiest. but stay away for lab for sure. ESP if youre an organized person lol

Recommend for lecture(only b/c he's easy). NOT LAB. Test are cake. 1/2 lecture notes w/ no tricks in question, 1/2 question in back of book(exactly). Not at all an enjoyable class. 0 class involvement. All hand written notes b/c he doesn't believe in powerpoint. NOT A GOOD PROFESSOR, BUT EASIEST ONE AT FDALE FOR SURE! THIS IS ACCURATE FOR HIM!!!

Dalto is a nice guy but he talks forever. The lab reports were fairly easy but the practicals and exams were pretty challenging. Although he lectures for 1 - 2 hrs before starting lab, it felt like people still didn't even know what was going on. He didn't really explain the actual lab procedures or the results afterwards. It was an ok class

If you have the opportunity to take Dalto, grab him before anyone else can! This professor is absolutely amazing. Everything he tells you in class is on the test. If you just reread your notes a bunch of times you are guaranteed an A. Im an average student and was nervous about this class but i ended up getting an A! Trust me you wont regret it.

Dr. Dalto is pretty straight forward, there are 4 tests and everything he goes over in lecture is on the test.

As easy as his tests were, my test average of the 4 tests was an 87. His 4th exam is HARD!!! If I had him for lab I would have gotten an A easily. Instead I had Ron Ortenberg- someone I'd never recommend to anyone. Dalto adds 0.4 points onto your final grade if you attend. I got a B+ in the end. ALL memorizing. I don't know ANY medical microbio.

Dalto is awesome!! He gives 4 tests, non cumulitive and soo easy. They are 90-100 questions; half the questions are exactly from the textbook and the other half is exactly from his notes. Im telling you, you will regret not taking him if you choose another professor over him. He makes medical micro so simple and easy. Hes looks like Danny Devito!

Dr. Dalto is the best! Take him for an easy A in medical microbiology! Half the test questions are from his lecture and the other half is from the end of the chapter reviews in the textbook. Does not give homework and expect anything from you. TRUST ME YOU WANT TO TAKE HIM!

Very sweet professor who is willing to help if you need it. I had never taken a summer course. The tests are based from the notes and from chapters in the textbook. I took this in 4 weeks working very hard and got an A! Just keep to a good work ethic and you'll do great.

Dr. Dalto is a really great professor. His tests are straight forward and easy to pass if you take good notes and pay attention. He goes pretty fast, but I did take this course during the summer. I highly recommend buying or renting the lecture book.

Had him for lab. Nice guy, tends to crack himself up with jokes that nobody understands. Lectures for about an hour and a half each lab session before you have an hour to actually complete the lab, which is a little annoying. 2 take home assignments, 2 MC tests, 2 10-question practicals. Lab textbook not required, everything based from his notes!

Very sweet, kind, helpful and funny man. His laugh and jokes was the highlight of the whole class. Required to give exams, a midterm and final exam for lab. No lab reports required. Will help you if you need it. Don't need any lab or text books. Gives hour long lectures during lab.

Just took him over the summer for lecture and lab. He's funny and has a contagious laugh. He writes his notes on the board which I kind of liked and really knows his stuff. Just an all around cool, nice guy, that really enjoys teaching micro. I chose him over about 5 other professors and I'm glad I did. A in both lecture and lab.
