He was so accessible during his office hours and took the time to learn the names of any students who went to them. He literally gave students what materials will be on the exam and simply changed numbers from previous lecture problems. On the final he tried his best to prepare students despite not knowing what would be on there. 10/10

Exams are literally so easy; he practically tells you what type of questions there will be. Homework is simple too. By far my favorite professor here. Passed the class easily with a 97.

Nice guy, but Klein doesn't go in depth in lectures and that doesn't help prepare you for exams. The final was crazy. Most of the Q's on the review did not show up in the actual final and were not really emphasized in class. This comes from a student who never missed a single lecture and always did the homework. If you can, don't take Pre-Calc 115.

He's an amazing professor! I highly recommend taking his class. He really cares about his students and wants them to do well. It's important to attend class because he always shows problems that are going to be on his exams. He makes sure you know exactly what to study for the exams so you don't waste time studying material that wont be on it.

You have to, absolutely have to do the homework, study the section before class, and go to all the recitation classes. This class is not a joke!!! He does a very poor job of teaching the material, he likes to tell jokes and go off topic. You have to teach the material to yourself, because like the comment below-the notes in class aren't that great.

Worst teacher I've had so far. He didn't seem to enjoy helping students that were struggling. For me he was also difficult to understand and his notes were pretty bad.

One of the best professors in the Math department. He seems like one of the few who actually care about your success in the class. He really wants you to do well and will do whatever he can to help. Go to office hours if you need to. Do the homework and you will pass.

Klein was an awesome professor, he made math bearable and enjoyable. Even though my best subject is math, he put in a lot of effort, and by what I've heard, his office hours really do help a lot. Even though I'm already good at math, my ability got even better with this professor. Just make sure you attend lecture and you'll get at least a B.

Really great teacher. He makes math that much more bearable if you're someone who hates the subject like me. Extremely approachable and very willing to help anyone with anything. Rewards improvement and effort. Towards the end of the semester, classes get short, sometimes 30 mins. Highly recommended! Great prof!

he's a great teacher. reminds me of my grandpa. during tests he's extremely helpful. you don't have to go to class but he goes over a lot of material. depending on the ta you don't need to have a textbook to do hw.. you might not need to do hw at all (i never did) office hours are right before class two days a week. love himm

The way he taught made me want to pay attention. He occasionally tells us interesting stories and he really is a great teacher. Whoever says the exams are hard is lying. He tells us question by question what's actually on it and he teaches everything so simply. Favorite teacher so far! If you pay attention in lectures you'll do fine.

I had him for precalc and he was very enthusiastic and told really lame jokes. He was very nice and would answer any questions you had until you knew exactly what you wanted to. He was a really great teacher.

Good man. I think he's pretty darn funny and that it's an enjoyable class but I know plenty of other people think he's boring. I guess it depends on how much you like math, but he's smart and easy to work with. Tests are no joke though, you really need to study. You should do the homework, or you will probably fail.

quizzes and lectures make material seem easy, but his exams are absolutely ridiculous. the guy is pretty boring, slightly condescending. but a good man nonetheless. if i were him i would be in chronic depression though. i dont understand...no one gives a**** about precalc. the stuff is absolutely useless. i think i will just join the peace corps.

Very nice guy, tries to explain everything well. Gives you the questions that will be on the test, but the tests are extremely hard. Only about 50% of the class passes. Nice guy, hard class.
