DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS CLASSES!! You were warned, so proceed at your own risk! He is easily the worst professor ever. Is lazy and puts in the bare minimum work to teach while expecting high achievement from students on tests. Try to find any other class he doesn't teach to complete your requirement because it is not worth it

He does not care about his students. He is not a clear lecturer, is dismissive, and I have to teach myself the material before tests. The way he teaches is not effective. Still go to class so you are not looking at the material for the first time on your own since his slide shows for his lectures genuinely make no sense.

Extremely disorganized and boring in lectures, and expects a high level of detail in your exam answers. Material isn't necessarily difficult but this guy is impossible to keep up with. Don't take this if you're looking for an elective like I was.

this class is not hard. went to every class, didn't read the book and went over slides before tests. got an A. if you don't do well, it's because you're stupid, not because the teacher is bad. sorry. he's also a nice guy and will cut you some slack if you take the time to talk to him outside of class.

The most unorganized professor I have ever had, which makes getting the huge end of the year project completed a nightmare. Completely out of it half the time and his grading doesn't seem to follow any pattern/make much sense. Don't take this class with him unless it's unavoidable.

Horrible teacher and textbook. The book is just a data report of a thousand studies. There is no logical or ontological analysis of the theories. Tests are impossible. Eg he asks for one or two sentence answers that require an essay to answer correctly. IE you have touess what HE wants, but he's unclear about that too!

Best advice: read and study the text more than the lecture notes, do not pay attention to the study guide, study things that seem too unsignificant to be on the test, don't worry if you do horrible on the first test, it gets better.

He is a horrible teacher. His lectures are badly organized and they don't go well with the textbook, which isn't great itself. Studying for the tests is near impossible because you have no idea what to study. Do not take a class with this professor unless it is completely unavoidable

ive never taken a class with him but hes my advisor. From talking to him a bunch of times i can tell u that he is pretty much a huge dooshbag. Hes one of those guys that takes education way too seriously and doesnt cut you a break with stuff. I wouldnt recommend taking any of his classes. Theyre probably really hard and annoying. Hes boring too.

this class could be interesting but he may be the worst teacher ever. the textbook is horrible and hardly helps his lectures that have absolutely nothing to do with cog. psych. people fall asleep every class because he is so boring and hard to understand. tests are ok but you have to study a lot more than he lectures on to do well.

even though the material is in itself difficult to understand, his notes and lectures are very little help. his notes and the book contradict themselves, making it hard to study for the tests, which are extremely hard. he doesn't even attempt to make a clear study guide either. humorous guy, but it doesn't matter because you will hate him

Not clear at all with his expectations from students. Not organized about the HUGE end of the year project, or any of the papers. His lack of clarity and lack of organization makes for alot of last minute huge assignments and other inconveniences. Unfortunately you don't get much of a choice, you have to take 210 and is either him or Barrett.

dear god, how is this man still teaching. he is very unclear and random, he shakes and skips around like he drank too many lattes. ~ tests are on book and class notes which are different (whats that about?) and prepare for writers cramp~ every random thing he says is on the tests~ hes really hard to follow

worst teacher EVER! the material has potential to be interesting but this guy totally ruins it. he barely goes over any relevant information during class time, the exams are ridiculously hard and grading is unfair.
