Worst class I have ever attended. He is extremely opinionated and teaches almost nothing from the book. You are tested on the random psycho-babble he spouts in lecture and almost nothing is used from the book. A word to the wise: if you are Republican, or like Sarah Palin, stay away.

I def wouldn't recommend taking him unless you are fully liberal and democratic. If your views are any different than his, he will tell you that your wrong and then tell you his opinion. He only has 3 tests and many of the questions are opinionated as well.. and the tests are your only grade

WORSSSSSST TEACHER EVERRRRR! OUT OF THE 25 STUDENTS IN HIS CLASS, 15 DROPPED IT! HE DOSNT TEACH ANYTHING OUT OF THE BOOK, JUST COMPLAINS ABOUT BUSH AND HOW LHU TRIED TO BAN SMOKING! HIS STUDY GUIDES ARE 10-15 PAGES LONG, AND JUST USELESS!!!

If you know anything about the history of U.S. Government this class should be a breeze. The study guides that he sends out "2 days before the test" will help you alot. They are exactly what he teaches from. Do the quizzes at the end of each chapter of the book, they help. Go to class and take notes. I got an A.

This guy is the worst teacher I have ever had. He doesn't teach while your in class and 2 days before a test he will still be sending out study guides. He wonders why his students fail his class. He only talks about his ex-wife and how he hates President Bush. If you can avoid it don't take his class a waste of time and money for everyone.

Unlike a lot of people I actually liked his class and I had it at 8 am. His calling us 'Schmucks' is not to be taken literal. If you would take the time to listen to him, his view may be a little biased but it shouldn't matter to you if you are confident in where you stand on issues and know a thing or two. He will help you, you just have to ask.

Simply a rude and crass human being. I either slept through class or stopped going. I am a good student,and this is not my typical behavior, but after hearing about how much he hates Bush and his ex wife, and always hearing how dumb I am, it became too much. He is very demoralizing and doesnt teach.dont waste your time and energy

Extremely left wing. Doesn't really teach at all, if you get don't buy the book, you'll never use it. Tests are difficult because he puts things on it that he never goes over. Funny to listen to, and good to get perspective on present politics, but overall just a boring class with an insane professor... Don't take it

He really isn't that bad. Don't take notes though, he rarely talks about what is important, although he will tie it all together at some point. He isn't concerned with teaching us how to pass tests, but rather educating students on real sh**. I liked him a lot, and this is from a republican! (he is VERY left-wing)

I took POLI105 with this professor and all he did was talk about how bad Bush is as a president. He doesn't use anything from the boo at all. You could read the chapters but nothing of that sort is on the test. You have 3 grades and that is all he gives you.

this guy is ridiculous. i am a straight A student, but i got a C- in his class. all he does is talk about what he thinks is wrong in the world every single day. i learned absolutely nothing about our government that wasn't a direct opinion of his. never take this guy - you will regret it!!!!
