THE EASIEST CLASS YOU WILL EVER TAKE -watch lecture, take quiz, submit list -there is two papers but automatic A if you just follow the guidelines don't stress it -also he is passionate about what he is teaching so makes it kinda interesting

Comment:

If you need an environmental lab or any science class, take this class online. It's 4 credits and an easy 100. It is just 2 weekly videos- one going towards a list of flora and fauna, and 2 papers (both 5-7 pages) but they are very easily graded. It was definitely worth the time to bring my GPA up.

Rudy Mancke is one of the best professors I've had at USC. He is SO passionate about the environment and animals; it's inspiring. The course consists of many video lectures that are wayyyy too long, but the quizzes and papers were very easy

TAKE THIS CLASS. Professor Mancke is amazing....I swear he is mother nature reincarnated. The "field trips" can be time consuming, the the info you learn is well worth it. TAKE TAKE TAKE!

Rudy Mancke is very passionate about the environment, which makes the online lectures quite interesting. However, they contain a ton of information which can get kind of overwhelming, and they're kind of boring. He is a fair grader, goes exactly by the rubric, and there are no pop quizzes.

Professor Mancke is awesome! He is so smart and hilarious and really loves what he does! Lets you use notes and books on the tests. Weekly field trips instead of traditional labs. Field trips can be long but they're really fun. If you have the opportunity you need to take this class! It is an easy honors science credit and mancke is amazing.

This course was an easy Science credit. I took it online and you spend about 1 12- 2 hours a week on this work. One quiz each week and then you watch a "field trip" video and write down the animals and plants he names throughout it. Two papers that are easy if you try at all. No need to buy a textbook. Definitely recommend this class!

Mr. Mancke loves the environment and it is inspirational at how much he really does know. He loves the subject. A video and list of plants and animals shown are due every friday with a short quiz. This class was so easy but was fun. Two papers that were graded easily as long as put effort in them. One was on a naturalist and one was animal plant

Prof. Mancke is a god of nature incarnate. Take this class! Textbooks are few and cheap. Open note exams and easy assignments. You will never regret your decision to take this class. Field trips every week are time consuming but an invaluable experience. If you have a lab science or elective spot to fill, snatch a spot in this class.

Best teacher I've ever had. I wish I could take this class again! Learned a ton while working very little. Can use books and note on all three tests. Two papers that if you do, he'll give you a 100. No studying at all, but come to class and write down everything he says. Labs are field trips one day a week for about three hrs. 2 weekend trips.

I have never taken a more boring class in my life. Rudy is an amazing teacher, but the lab is field trips that last half the day. Also, to do well on his tests you have to write down literally everything he says in class. It's an easy A for an honors lab science, but if I could do it again, I'd take a different class.

Natural History of SC. I see no way that I can enjoy a class more or have a better professor in the remainder of my time at college. And I'm a business major. Prof. Mancke is HILARIOUS and so knowledgeable. He gets to know each of his students. If you can make this work with your schedule, take it.

This class is AMAZING!!!! You get 4 credit hours, but it's an online course. You spend about 1 1/2 hours watching the DVD (Mancke's lectures, which are very interesting). Then you watch the field trip 30 min DVD and write what you saw (that's the lab part!) Tests are open book & you can take them 3 times! Prof. Mancke makes you excited about envr.

This class is AWESOME!!! Tests are open note and open book. If you take good notes and buy the books it is an easy A. The papers he asssigns... he gives everyone a 100 who completes it! Would highly recommend!
