I really like this professor although he is very confusing especially if you are not that good in math. I ended up teaching myself the material and went to him for help multiple times. He is very helpful outside of class and he grades really easily. Show your work and he will give you credit for the problem even if the answer is not right.

Took him for intro to real analysis, he tries his best to help out with grade and explanation of the concepts as well if you are unclear on something. Nice sense of humor and a nice guy overall too.

OMG he is a bad professor but he is nice, You basically have to teach your self and the online textbook suck so is hard to learn from there if you get him go to youtube do all the hw. The first 2 test are the easiest so study for them it will help on your grade He is not helpful at all he confuses you more . best advice go to tutoring

He isn't horrible. But, he is confusing. If you don't understand something you MUST ask the question during class. Is will be much easier for you to understand. The majority of the notes that I took were from high school. If precalc is confusing then dont take him. I ended up with an A, but that was bc I studied countless hours.

Worst math class that i ever took in my life. This man is very sweet, but he cannot teach! Your better off teaching yourself and going to tutoring almost every week. DO YOUR WEBASSIGN it will benefit you at the end and he also curves the final.

This professor is very old and old-schooled. He's more focussed on his corny jokes and stories than he is in teaching his students. Don't take this professor unless you have a very good understanding of pre-calc before this course. In the end, he will help you pass the class by extending assignments and such, he doesn't explain anything.

Such a sweet man, with jokes that aren't funny at all. BUT I did not learn a thing from him! He does not have any clarity in his teaching and you leave class even more confused than when you got there.

I'm sure he's a nice guy and very smart in his own right, but I've got to agree with the other people who say he can't teach. Some people just aren't meant to be teachers and he's not meant to teach. If you don't already understand the subject, you're going to sink in his class.

He is the nicest of professors you will ever meet. But like others before me said, HE CANNOT TEACH! I repeat... HE CANNOT TEACH. If you really want to learn you are better off teaching yourself. He does problems and mumbles about it and doesn't bother telling the class what he's doing. I take good notes but I really don't understand them.

I don't understand why everyone complains about Mr. Williamson. It seems most people in my class can understand him quite well and we were well prepared for his tests! <3 his jokes, funniest professor I've ever had, and is now my favorite!

Personality wise he is a really nice and a bit of an odd prof. However, his teaching methods are unclear and broad. His notes are all over the place and are a bit complicated. He only gives 2 exams and one 2000 word paper that is not easy! You will basically be teaching yourself in this class. Plus the class is boring. Avoid his class!

Nicest guy you will ever meet, but he is too smart to be teaching a lower level math. He does not explain things well and his tests are very hard. Luckily, he gives some extra credit on exams and is always available for extra help. If you are not good at math this is not a class for you.

Nice guy, tries to be funny and liven up the dullness of the class. Textbook is alphabetical, which is confusing to have in a math class when C (circle) is so easy and D (differential calculus) is not. Only 2 tests, but worth 40% of your grade each. If you can read his handwriting, take notes. The course was overall harder than I was expecting.

Overall nice and friendly guy but taking him at 830am was unbearable. his bad jokes take up a majority of the class and he isnt always clear on the material. tests were managebale and he offered extra credit. wouldnt really recommend him if your looking to actually learn something useful.
