You do have to do the work. There are four major grading components, but you spend a lot of time preparing for them. She does her best to make sure that you understand the material. It's not about memorization it's about learning the material and if you don't understand, ask. It's not an easy a. As long as you put in the effort you'll do great.

Professor Haddad made this Info Tech class extremely helpful. I was happy to go class and refresh my memory about Information Technology. She's very intelligent and an expert at what she does. Very helpful also. You just have to do your part as well (like studying, going to class, turning assignments in on time, etc.) One of the best!

Comment:

This class was a great introduction to excel and website design. My class was very small, so she was able to tailor her teaching to each student and focused on individual issues very well. She was very effective in meeting deadlines, but was also accommodating to personal issues. If you have little tech knowledge her lectures are simplified for you

Comment:

Teacher didn't know what she was talking about. Never knew how to fix problems on NVU when building website. Messed up other student's work instead of fixing it. Didn't seem to know anything about Excel. Doesn't even make exams or quizzes so she doesn't tell you what to study. Doesn't submit grades on time or answer emails in a timely fashion.

You have to read the whole book for this course because what she goes over in class is not what will be on your midterm and final it is all from the book. Took in 8 week course and happy to be done with it but she has still not put a single grade in. She does not make her quizzes or tests and does not seem to understand how to use excel.

Do not take her if you can help it! She grades easy on the assignments but the tests and quizzes were horrible. We never went over the material for the final, she simply handed us a review which covered almost none of the information she ended up testing on. She also liked to remind us that we were just a number.

The class was really fair and easy. When reading these other ratings, it is important to point out that TECH students at NSU tend to be indolent and indefatigably self-entitled. What's that? She took off 20 points for not following the extremely clear directions? When the whole class is about MS Word and Excel, what do you expect?

Unfortunately this Professor is teaching things like Computer Peripherals and treating them like Rocket Science. Basic word documents and excel charts need to be created for the course, that the professor will make useless deductions and grade harshly. Overall nothing learned and $1600 lighter. Just a bad teacher.

Due to the experience from this class, I will never take another online class in my life!. Professor was not helpful at all! Was rude in her e-mails constantly using CAPS and exclamation marks. None of my work nor the works of other students was ever "done right" according to her. In the end I could not take it anymore and I withdrew.

I'm scared to take an online class again because this class was so confusing online! She would not help with anything! all the directions for assignments are so confusing and dont make much sense! I had my mom, who has a computer science degree, help me with an assignment, we followed directions word for word and still got points off some how!

I'm in complete agreement with the others comments. This class was a waste of valuable time and money. Learned NOTHING. Don't bother asking her questions, you won't get a straight answer. VERY confusing requirements on assignments. Extremely arrogant. Avoid TECH1110 with her teaching if at all possible.

If you dont understand something, she WILL NOT HELP YOU!! When I asked her a question regarding HER assignment, she told be to contact the online help desk. The lady at the help desk went nuts when I called because she said that professor Haddad was sending all of her students to the help desk when they cant help us with her assignments. GOOD LUCK!

She really is bad. I had her online, for being a tech instructor she had difficulty expressing herself online. She's confusing, won't help a student out at all. The only time I got anything out of her was when I emailed the head of the department. Too bad shes the only person who teaches this course. Anyone else would be better...

She's the only one who teaches this course, so you'll be stuck. She was no help at all! She's a picky grader, and is extremely arrogant in attitude. Do not expect her to help you wilt anything. Her whole course content and syllabus contradict each other. Tuition too high to deal with these kind of professors who decrease GPA. HATED HER!!

If another teacher taught this class, I would not have signed up with her.She also penalized me for using a color in one of my assignments.She will make you feel as if you're in a COMP course,because she took points off for APA formats. She's very picky and you will find it hard to get an A, even though you know your work was top notch.BIG A**HOLE!

Nice teacher, very picky on assignments, but it is not hard to get an A. all tech classes have the same assignments, so you can;t avoid them. she's very helpful, just be on time and don't be rude, but that's a rule for all classes...gives exact test questions and VERY clear about what to expect.
