It's been years since I took her class, but I still remember her as one of my favorite teachers in my college experience. She took such an interest in her class and she had a way of really looking at you as a person instead of just a number. She challenged me to think in ways I still find useful. She actually seems to find teaching fun!

She seems so brutal & exacting at first, and she is. Then you realize she's also amazing, but she won't respect you until you prove you deserve it. Just make sure you don't fall in love with her. I wish I could take a class with her every semester.

One of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure to witness. She is a great professor with drive and dedication. She does not push her ideals on you but urges you to think for yourself without baby-ing you. She is a real college professor and exemplifies what all teachers should hope to aspire to; intelligence, passion, and SKILL.GREAT TEACHER

If you're a shy girl like me, don't take this class. It's all about participation. She always seems to expect one right answer, and if you're wrong, you're wrong. She plays favorites, and gives the most vague and complicated responses to your e-mails. But she can be really nice and friendly, too. The presentations can really be about anything.

she is definitely intimidating and demanding, but she is also the most amazing professor i have ever taken. she never tells you what to think, but gives you so much to think about. i love to listen to her speak, but even if i didn't, i would sit in her class just to watch her. i wish i were friends with her too.

She is a cold and nasty person;doesnt give much info. about topic.Discussions lack meaning as do reading assignments.Is extremely opinionated, and I was offended at many of her pollitically incorrect comments. yerie is an amazing instructor. People, as usual will always have something negative to say about her. My favorite WOMN professor (and first of many). Compared to the forced-sounding political correctness of other professors, she is very refreshing in her bluntness. Allows for creativity in presentations and gives a good introductory survey of women's studies topics. I wish I were friends with her.
