Comment:

One of the best professors at CBU. His lectures are so great and he is extremely passionate about what he does. Took his "History Goes to the Movies" class and it was so interesting and perhaps one of the best classes I've taken yet. Highly respect him and would take his class again!

Comment:

Andy is the best prof I've ever had. He's very enthusiastic and passionate about his teaching, a super nice guy and is really funny. Very good to give feedback and help. Even if you're not a fan of history, take one of his courses if you get the chance. His lectures make the material interesting even for those who don't like the subject.

The best prof I've ever had. Hilarious, makes class exciting every time. Work is challenging but not too bad, and Andy is great for help. Ive taken 3 of his classes and just signed up for a 4th, can't wait for next semester :)

AMAZING!!! He is so passionate about what he teaches, is easy to understand and will not leave a topic until everybody has a clear understanding of it. The book is said to be a requirement but I got an A grade without reading it. Great guy, great class, already registered for another one with him for September.

I am not a fan of history, however Andy made it so interesting that I am taking the part two to this course next semester! I didn't read the book, instead I watched online lectures from the author. Andy gives the questions for the exam, so you can prepare answers and not be left in the dark with what's on it. Hilarious, understanding, passionate!

Best professor I have ever had, super passionate and a fair grader. also he is really helpful, his exam may seem easy but that just means you should know the material backwards and forwards, and that goes for everything that he assigns as well as tests.

Andy is the reason I love history. He makes every subject he teaches fascinating, is able to create a fun learning environment for students, and visibly enjoys doing it. He is very helpful & understanding, as long as you're showing commitment & dedication to the course. He remembers what it's like to be a student. My fav prof by far.

Hard marker, never really sure why I got a lower grade than expected. I have 85-95% in most of my classes and received 75% in Andy's class. He is interesting and hilarious though, so if you're okay with a very hard marker you'll enjoy his class.

Andy is a fantastic prof! He is enthusiastic & interesting, clear & to the point, he outlines well & makes excellent use of time. Some say he is a hard marker but I disagree. If you put in hard work & try your best you'll get the mark you deserve! He is easy to access & treats students as people not numbers or names. I highly recommend his classes!

Andy is the BEST prof I have ever had. He's truly brilliant. He is able to express his topics in accessible ways. Extremely personable, super helpful. Tough but fair marker. You get what you put into it; if you're a slacker don't expect a good grade. He truly cares about his students. He loves history with a passion. & Not bad to look at!

Andy is one the best prof's I have ever had. He made history, something I am totally not interested in, the highlight class of the year. I never missed a single class. He is intelligent, well spoken and personable. My favorite line he has is about how history is only as good as whoever wrote it. He takes a different perspective its great.

I'm not sure that if I understand him or not. Everyone seems to like him a lot but I find that he picks favorites and makrs hard. He doesn't seem to pass back assignments until a month or so later so you don't know how you're doing in the course. But overall, his methods make you look at things from a different point of view, which is interesting.
