Comment:

Axil didn't try to sugarcoat or mickey mouse anything. I actually found FYS 95 to be more difficult than HCOM 211 & 312. Be prepared for bleeding markups, but promise that Axil's feedback is nothing but constructive & genuine. Overall, Axil is awesome & impeccably easy to converse with. Just don't be a slacker and put in some gosh darn effort!

A truly eye opening class. This was a great learning experience for me. I recommend Axil as a teacher too, he is very smart and compassionate, he didn't talk down to us like other teachers, he treated us like equals. Great guy. Interesting class and topic.

I really liked Axil as a person, and I found the class rather interesting. He has a lot to say about gender, and his personal experiences and opinions were something i found profoundly impacting. The articles and videos we watched, as well as the essays we wrote, were very interesting, and actually enjoyable.

This class should be required for everyone, not just college students. The idea of gender is very complicated, it isn't as easy as boys and girls as we once thought. I highly recommend this course and Axil knows what is up with gender.

This class is really easy as long as you know how to write essays. His thoughts on the subject matter was scattered and sometimes incomprehensible but my overall class experience with him was great. What is rediculous are your cdomments and ignorance. If you dropped a class 3 weeks before it ended then you were not passing to begin with. I think you missed the point of the class since you are blaming other people for your own failure. Axil is an awesome instructor. I was in that service learning class too. And the students gave Axil so much crap because they are totally immature. Axil did a great job in restraining himslef. I do not know how he did it, I was so frustrated at the ridiculousness of my peers. Axil, you are great!
