Comment:

Hendricks is a good teacher, but lacks the ability to keep us interested and awake. She uses an overhead projector from the 80s, and she doesn't use Canvas, so seeing my grade throughout the year was never an option. She gives us all the objectives we need to know that will be on the test, which is awesome! That is the only reason I'm passing.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! she does not use PowerPoint and she will read straight from a projector in the most monotone voice ever. Literally was the deciding factor for me changing my major

She is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. She will really go out of her way to help you if you know she deserves a good grade! I really loved her as a teacher! The material is boring and tests are hard, but she lays out exactly what you need to do! Go to lecture and you will be fine. I recommend her! She is so nice!

She's dry but that shouldn't stop you from doing well. Her 'objectives' basically mirror her tests. Answer them all & study it & you'll do fine. I got a C in 121 w/ a diff prof & got an A- in 122 just from using the objectives. It's time consuming sometimes but NOT hard. I rarely used the book.

Super boring. No powerpoints, just old projector transparencies. Expects you to memorize an inssane amount of information for each quiz/test. Made me decide to switch my major from Bio.

She is def. not an easy teacher meaning you will have to work for your A. But she gives you a study guide before each test/quiz with EVERYTHING you need to know. Those who did bad were too lazy to study it or didn't put in the effort. She is always willing to help during office hours. Notes are super helpful..minimal use of book -very fair.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. She uses overhead projections for notes and you can't read them if you don't sit in the front row. She speaks quietly and won't help you if you missed anything. Lab is useless and will help your grade if you show up, but it will make your days a living hell when you have the class. Take another prof if possible

As you read those comments below me, you may wonder if dr.hendrick is easy/good or not. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: nice, good personality, funny (sometimes),gives you the objectives to study for exams & quizzes. No labs graded. Cons: Boring, exams and lab quizzes are ridiculously brutal. Need to study really really hard. avoid this profs.

Awful teacher. Lectures were very tedious, and she does not attempt to make the subject material more interesting at all, choosing to just drone on all the time. If you can stay focused and attentive though, she gives you all the notes you need. If not, look for another professor, particularly if you just need the gen ed requirement.

My friends and I all agreed that she was a great teacher. She is funny, but not intentionally. If you study, then you will have no problems. She gives you study guides with every piece of info you need for exams & quizzes. She goes over everything. Attendence is important, b/c of quizes, which are usually just a few points, but can help your grade.

This class was very challenging because of the limited graded assignments. Most grades came from difficult tests/quizzes. If you study really really hard you might just pass... this class is not for someone who just wants to look over their notes right before a test. In my opinion, try for a different professor!

This class made me give up on a science major. Lectures and labs were boring and dull. No matter how much you study for tests, quizzes, and lab tests, they will still seem unfairly hard and incredibly too long. Get out while you still can!

If you can study a lot of info and like to be told EXACTLY what to study. She is for you. I spent a lot of time on my notes only. She writes on the board so you know exactly what she wants. No power point slides with 20 min conversation leaving you wondering whats important. No grade on lab books but lab quiz's are tough cause its a lot of identfy

Horrible. Taught straight from the overheads and never clarified information. Lab quizzes were impossible to pass, exams were even worse! Never available outside of class (said she lived too far from campus). She gives you the learning objectives before hand, but those are useless on exams. Multiple choice tests were the most difficult ever taken.
