She's not as bad as everyone says she is. Tests are simple, quizzes are open book. There are quite a few homework assignments, but are simple, as well. She will flat out embarass you in front of the class if ask a question about an assignment. Her idea of "professionalism" will reflects poorly on NIU. She has little patience with her students. She writes down all the right things to keep her from looking her job, but she is a disgrace to the reputation of the college of business. She poorly fakes her interest in her students. She is a good example of "those who cannot do (manage), teach (managements courses)."

I would much rather take a bullet to the back of my own head than have to sit through another semester of this woman. Lectures right from the book and offers no origional thought of her own. Unless you have prior experience in the circus dont take this class as you will have to jump through a million hoops just to turn in an assignment.

I seriously thought that some of the ppl making these comments just wanted an easy way out but she is truly the worst teacher! there is no other way about it. Do NOT go to her office hours. For example she threw my paper at me and she told me to SHUT UP when i was asking her a Q.save urself plz!

This teacher is not as bad as everyone makes her seem. Her assignments are pretty clear and have specific instructions as long as you follow them you will be fine. There is a group project thats a big chunck of grade work with reliable people, project not hard at all. Also, be on time for class, she do not accept work after 5 min into class.

by far the worst teacher ever in history to teach management 333..she is the rudest...disgrace of a teacher ever..she doesnt care about her students, she sits in the chair and teaches and try asking her any questions, she will definitely give you a sarcastic, rude answer..TRUST ME when I say if you can get another teacher and time..DO So!!

Prof. Brown's class was a pain to sit in, her tests were hard because she didn't communicate the material properly. very strict on assignments and not helpful. Meahwhile the other mgmt classes had take home tests and averages of 90 percent.

This teacher is TERRIBLE. She is the most uneasy person to ask question to. I went to her office hours numerous time for help, and every time I left I was in a bad mood because of her uneasy and B*tchy personality. ADVICE: DO NOT TAKE, unless your ready to sit in front of a crabby teacher 3 hours a week and needs to do something with her HAIR.
