MICRO SUCKS. Zech is an okay teacher, quizzes and extra credit help your grade, without it everyone would fail because her exams are IMPOSSIBLE!! Would recommend her but probably wouldn't take her again, definitely not at 8:30.

Worst teacher i've ever had so far. Such a boring hour and 15 minutes. Not helpful in class, only writes on the board no ppt or anything. Quizzes every week and tests are not multiple choice and really hard. Not helpful with the final paper. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Mrs. Zech is a cooky old lady, who makes micro interesting. I beasted the class, just screwed up on the tests which brought me down so much. Quizes, tests, midterm, final and final paper. Also we presented news stories once a week which was fun. Final presentation, be the moderator.. you get +20 to your own grade

had two exams for micro and a paper/presentation. quizzes every week with a lot of extra credit. for our class, she offered 2 20 point extra credit essays to pull up the exam grades. final is bearable. really nice lady, go to her office hours if you need help, she will love you. i'd take her again

Sweet older lady. Exams are pretty hard, but if you know you study way ahead of time youre good. Somewhat unclear in explanations but she means well. I was late to my 8:30 exam and she let me stay after to finish it. Caring lady. Class is a little boring, especially early in the morning. Final is impossible.

Had her for macro. this was my first econ class. the material is interesting, but difficult. quizzes every week, and 3 big tests. both are challenging. She makes it as interesting as possible. Pay attention, take notes, and study and you will do fine. It is econ, so there isnt any easy way out really. very nice teacher. go to class!

zech sucks. probably the most difficult teacher i have had so far at st joes. her quizzes seem like they would be simple because they're multiple choice, but the way she words them literally makes them impossible. her tests ate extremely hard, she will take off points for seemingly anything on essays. definitely must teach yourself the material.

Zech is an overall good teacher. She doesn't take attendance nd had only 5 quizzes, 3 tests, a paper, and absolutely no hw for the semester. Her tests are tough but she usually gives xtra credit to help boost ur grade. Her lectures are pretty boring but they do help and she respects the students alot and will always answer ur question if u have one

If all you want to do is watch someones head bobble back and forth take Zech. Her quizes are easy dont be stupid read the chapter or rather skim it. The other comments here seem to be from an old class i take her now exams are HARD, and she just nit picks taking points off left right up and down. do extra credit, and be ready to teach yourself.

Very straightforward and easy! Gives out study guides that are exact replicas of the tests. Willing to help, and allows you to reschedule exams if you have 2 in one day. Gives all final exam essay questions ahead of time. Easy reading quizzes.

I enjoyed this class for the most part. Tests are hard but theres a lot of cushion grades like homework and extra credit. Final was alot harder than expected. Her last paper is pointless cause no matter what you say she will take points off. I got screwed on that paper. Decent lady though. easy to pass.

SO BORING! Test are next to impossible, the extra credit might as well be reguired to pass, because you wont without it. Shes definatley on the easy side, but personally i would rather take a teacher i would work a little for and be entertained during class, then want to drill a hole in my head during the boringst class ever.

I LOVE THIS CLASS! i took econ in high school an practically failed, but now i am getting an A because of zech. easy partner quizes. low homework amount- easy summary of chapter. sure her tests might be hard but she curves and gives loads of extra credit... study for the tests!!

Econ is a tough and boring subject but she turns it into (almost) fun and interesting. She's very nice, offers ample extra credit (DO it), curves tests, and you get to have a partner for every quiz. Tests are a little rough, so you have to study..but it's far from impossible. very friendly and is glad to help you after class. would take again.

She is like a bobblehead doll, which can be distracting at times but overall she is a good teacher. Although her tests are almost impossible even if you study really hard, she does a LOT of grade inflating. I'd recommend her but I don't think I'd take her again
