Personally I loved her class. She was kept on topic and worked with you to bring about true discussion on the books you were reading. However, if you do not do reading and dislike English I probably wouldn't suggest her class. She's a great teacher and she expects you to do your work she doesn't hold your hand through it, like a good professor.

A lot of reading and writing so if you can't stand English like me I'd steer away from her. She decently funny and class is pretty much discussion the whole time, unfortunate she stays on topic a lot so most discussion is on the books you read...... Drag.......

Ann is a wonderful & nice teacher. Ann helped me learn so much & made it fun, I really enjoyed going to class. I can't wait to get done with eng50, so I can take eng100 with her next semester!

Anne is an amazing teacher. Learned so much and grew as a writer. The required books are all fun to read. She is extremely clear on what she expects and on what she teaches. I highly recommend her and take her again!

FANTASTIC teacher love her hes is so helpful and tells you how it is, does not bet around the bush when it comes to explaining things, GREAT examples makes class so much fun!! i had her for english 10 and she was so amazing! test are easy its the same stuff over and over and over one essay very easy shes great!

Anne is great, she is the only teacher that I felt like taught me anything this semester. Unlike most teachers attending her class was enjoyable and well worth the time. If you attend her class be willing to talk, share your opinon, and read the material. If you do, you will do great

Wonderful teacher. Classes are discussion driven. She loves new perspectives on the text. She doesn't take down attendance after the first two weeks or so, and there's no penalty for not showing up a lot except that you miss discussion that is relevant to the midterm. Try to keep up with the reading. The class is more interesting that way.

hated her!! if you arent a harcore liberal, dont even think about taking her class. we had to write a paper on an essay about little red riding hood. except it wasnt the normal story. this one ended in beastiality. she thought it was empowering to woman. i think not.

Anne was a wonderful teacher. She made a boring class into an interesting one. She does make you work for your grade. Your grade depends on the time and effort you actually put into the material. She can really tell if you BS your way though something. Anne is definitely a wonderful teacher. I Highly recommended her.

She's great! If you have a sarcastic sense of humor, you'll get along with her. The thing I liked about her class is that she gives everyone a chance to talk. She makes sure that if you have something to add to the discussion, you are heard. And, she keeps the discussion lively by doing research on qeustions that students have.

Anne Hohman is a wonderful teacher- very interested in what she teaches and her class is so much fun! Tests are not hard as long as you've done the reading and have come to class. There weren't really any quizzes except for a couple really easy ones in the beginning. All in all, a great teacher!!!
