Took Tudor and Stuart England with her. She's horrific. she doesn't give out how much your grades are worth. She doesn't give you any guidelines whatsoever for papers or homework assignments. Everything you do is wrong, regardless of how you do it. Do NOT take anything with her. She knows the material for this course but she is an awful professor.

BAM had me a little bit stressed out at first, but if you just go to class and participate in whats going on she'll give you a decent grade. I got a 65 on the midterm, and probably the same on the final. I got a B+. She's so boring and is a little crazy too. One time she dropped the overhead projector (wicked funny).

She is a very nice, smart lady! The only thing about this course is that you must read in order to do well, just taking notes in class isn't enough!!! but as long as you stay on top of the reading (which is extensive) you should do ok. She is there to help you and wants to see you do good!

Terrible. ! ! walked in the class the first week of class listened to her for about 15 minutes and decided that that was all of the time that i would waste in that class. thank god i read this before i decided to get really deep into the semester with this class. DO NOT TAKE CLASS ! ! !

This class was EASY. Just contribute during the beginning of class discussion and she will leave you alone for the rest of the day. But don't be annoying because she doesn't like that. Anyone who took African History during Fall 05 knows what I'm talking about :) Couple of papers, a book to read, but over all no big deal. Easy grader!!!!!!!!!!!

nice lady, WANTS TO PASS YOU, WANTS TO GIVE A's. just go to class and show a general interest in the material. the 10 pg paper wasn't bad cause it was split up over the semester into 3 X 3-4 pg papers. the midterm was tough but she scaled it, and the book report was weird but doable. you will think its a joke but just roll with it - not a bad prof.

Alot of people failed the midterm but she scales. I was one of the 7 students who passed. 10 page paper, 5 3-4 page papers, 1 300 page novel, and the text book. It seems like a lot but I didn't put much effort into it an managed a B+. She is a nice lady and is relaxed with due dates. Just get on her good side. I did and it was a cake walk.

She is a nice person, but struggles with her teaching. My big issue was she graded us for things that were not listed on her syllabus (notebook grading)! She is very much an "old-school" teacher, and does not gain the attention of her students.

She is really hard first of all. All her tests failed about 80% of students in both her classes Her attitude is appaling to some students. Basically, it's impossible to get an A in this gened course. Don't think about taking her is u want to do good.

Takes attendence every day. Calls on people randomly, doesn't know names. She's pretty boring, but on the whole she's a nice person. If you take notes, you'll pass.
