Good professor. No homework for the class, just two MAJOR assignments- which is the midterm and the final projects (& a possible short paper - 3-5 pages). Projects were extremely extensive, but I do not regret taking the class. Barak really cares abt what he teaches- and it's evident. Very willing to help as well.

Hands down best professor I ever had at Hofstra. Learned the most in his class than any other I've ever taken. Yes the projects are long, but the 2nd is a group so it's not that bad. Also it's so big because it needs to be to cover the info. He's hilarious. He doesn't make you feel stupid, he gets you involved and makes you think, and corrects you.

I am obsessed with Barak. He's brilliant and hilarious and so helpful, in and outside the classroom. ABSOLUTELY take him, you will love going to class and learn so much.

I agree wholeheartedly with what the person below me wrote. Professor Barak makes you work to learn and when you leave his class you feel much, much smarter. Isn't that what we are in college for? I highly recommend Dr. Barak!

Professor Barak is one of the most intelligent and helpful professors at Hofstra. Many people do not like his class due to the amount of work that he expects from his students and others say that he is arrogant and unapproachable. Untrue: if you attend class, listen to what he says, and put some effort into the two projects, its an easy A.

You def have to work your butt off to get a good grade in this class. Relatively easy grader. There is ALOT OF WORK THOUGH. A 3 pg paper, an in-class/take home final(if you choose take home, expect to write about 20 pgs!!!)as well as a major group project, which requires you to present a product to the class. I'd choose another professor if u can.

Amazing professor. If yo want to learn abouut international marketing take him! He doesnt have any tests yet he had 2 big projects which are kind of hard. Very nice guy, and very helpful.
