Comment:

I loved this class. C. Miller is passionate and committed to his students, and he's an engaging lecturer and very knowledgeable about UX. The class was well-structured and interesting, and assignments/group projects were effective learning opportunities. I highly recommend this class/professor. This was one of the best classes I've had at DePaul.

Comment:

Professor Miller is pretty good at what he does. He knows his stuff really well and you can learn a lot from him if you put in the work. His exams are not bad. His midterm and final are the same format, so if you do bad on the midterm, don't worry you'll ace the final. In terms of easiness, you have to put in some work to pass, otherwise u'll fail.

BEST COMP SCI PROFESSOR EVER!!!!! Explains things crystal clear and does everything he can to help the students. Great and fun guy to talk to too. TAKE HIM!!!

This man is a true educator. He's the first professor I've had at DePaul who knows every student by their name and truly cares about each one of them. The execution of his lectures are flawless and his teaching and learning philosophy is what all educators should aim to do. I was very lucky to have him this quarter. Not finished yet. So far 100% A+

Comment:

Great professor. Best lectures I've had so far at DePaul for IT, he's a good speaker, knows his stuff, and cares about students. I'd take every class possible with him. You can live without the Javascript book, but I thought it was helpful. Also, there's weekly homework, a midterm and final exam, plus a final project.

As a business major, I thoroughly enjoyed Craig's class in CDM. Fair Grader and gives good feedback, responds to emails quickly and helps out a lot. He encourages questions & helps out in class with homework assignments. I took IT 130 with him and loved his class so I took IT 211. Well structured - homework is similar to what is shown in class.

He's really good. Not a lot of homework, but they really cost some time ti think. His class and project help you think more instead of writing or coding a lot. I like his class.

Presented Java in a clear and understandable manner. He kept his website updated and provided live coding examples. He graded assignments in a timely manner with good feedback. Would definitely take again!

Comment:

Clear lectures and assignments. He keeps his website updated and does live coding in class that you can follow along to. He grades in a timely manner and fairly. He makes Java clear and easy to understand, even if you don't have prior experience. Would definitely take again!

Boring class. It is very easy, but he isn't very helpful. The classes are recorded on camera, so going to class isn't necessary or helpful. The notes he puts on his website are all you need to get an A. Take the class. It will be the easiest SI credit you can get.

Class was easy, lecture attendence is not required, though LAB should be attended to ask any questions pertaining to the assignments given. Assignments are pretty easy and he is willing to help if needed, though he will not just do it for you. I went to all the labs and hardly any of the lectures and easily obtained an A. I'd take him again.

He is a tool, he barely learned anything after the first few classes. He is a horrible teacher, i pretty much had to teach myself the material. Does not take any late assignments even if you are sick and have a doctors note.
