He is a great teacher and a great man. Loved him! He always took the time to stop and make sure everyone got it. No homework, but you ended up doing it anyways in case you had questions for the start of next class. He also held Sat Study hall (his own time) before tests. He really cares about his students, take him if you can! You won't regret it!

Professor Fone is very good teacher. He takes his time if you don't understand and very knows his MATH! I'm not a "math" person and during and after this class was very proud of what he taught me. He cares for his students!

VERY GOOD PROFESSOR. VERY PATIENT AND HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. PROFESSOR FONE IS THE BEST I WISH I COULD TAKE HIM FOR MAT1033 AND COLLEGE ALGEBRA. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO HAS TO TAKE ELEMENTARY ALGEBRA

Professor Fone is the greatest teacher I had ever had! He is very dedicated to everyone. He even does a Saturday study group, the weekend before the test, which is his free time. He cares enough for each students to "waste" his weekend for you to get the extra help you need individualy for the tests (he also brings doughnuts!). Take Mr. Fone!!

Prof. Fone is very knowledgeable & dedicated to his students. He holds bi-weekly workshops on Saturdays, during his free time, to review for upcoming tests. He allows ample instruction time before, during & after class for students who are having trouble comprehending. I highly recommend him to students who haven't been in school for a while.

Mr. Fone is the best math teacher ive had. I wish he taught Intermed. and College Alg. Very thorough and takes his time when working out a problem. Is considerate of your personal time- doesnt load you down w/ too much homework. Great teacher!

I have to agree with all of the responses here. This guy was the most helpful, he gives you all kinds of ways to contact him, home phone,his personal e-mail address, and the office # on campus. Even though I did not get an A in this class just due to my lack of math interesthe is an excellent teache

Even though Mr. Fone is older, he still has a sense of humor. Takes his time when explaining problems and looks around to see if anyone has a questioning look. He really wants all his students to do well. Sometimes haves a hard time understanding questions, could either be his hearing or a student.

Very helpful, very pleasant. Only professor I have had that will schedule optional study sessions on campus before a test. Some of his lessons were a little fuzzy but, what he lacked in clarity, he made up in heart.
