Comment:

Definitely one of the best professors I have had at UWRF. It is obvious that he is passionate about teaching and enjoys his job which makes for a great teacher. He was always happy to see me at his office hours and was always positive and helpful. If you gotta take physics, take it with him it is hard to do poorly with such a good teacher.

Comment:

Physics is not my strong science, but Dr. B made it doable! He is a caring teacher, and is there to help with any issues you might encounter. Make sure you attend all the classes, it does not take much to fall behind. Homework is tough, and time consuming. He gives partial credit on tests, which is wonderful! Highly recommend Dr. B!

Dr. B is a physics wizard. If you don't go to class, you'll have trouble. But hey, this is physics, after all. The homework is long, but if you do it and understand it, the exams are a cake walk. He's excited to teach, and wants to do everything he can to help you. I strongly recommend taking any of his classes.

AWESOME professor. If you ask him a question, he WILL NOT give you the answer because he wants you to figure it, but he will nudge you in the right direction until you get it. his office is always open unless he isn't in it, and he leaves to notes about where he is if you need help. Had him for PHYS 161 lecture and PHYS 132

Dr. B is such an amazing professor! The material can be hard for people who aren't good at physics, but he gives a lot of partial credit on quizzes and exams. He is the kind of teacher who will bump your grade up if you're on the brink and you showed that you tried hard in class. He also tends to favor students who ask for help and show interest.

Dr. B is pretty great. He loves physics and wants help you learn to love it too. If you need any help, he'd love to. BUT this is physics, its tough stuff. You will have to read the textbook. In physics it isn't about memorization, you will need to UNDERSTAND it. AKA, you will HAVE to study ALLOT. Expect long long hours at the textbook.

This is his lab course, so if anyone is looking for a great lab professor then Earl is your guy. He is my favorite professor this semester. He is always willing to help and his goal is to give everyone an A. Work hard in lab, but go ask him questions because he is fun to talk to. Take him!

Definitely the nicest prof I've ever had. The class was pretty hard, and the homework was VERY time consuming, but Dr B is always there to help. He answers emails almost immediately, will clarify anything you don't understand, and is almost always in his office for help. He is very energetic, super fun, and has great demonstrations.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Very nice, explains concepts well, and is extremely helpful if you have questions. The homework can be tough, and is generally time consuming, but if you take time to understand it, it really prepares you for exams. He allows personal reference sheets on exams. Generous w/ points. Very passionate and energetic and is pretty generous when it comes to points. But he lectures WAYY too fast to reasonalbly comprenhend any material in class. He is relentless when it comes to homework, very time-consuming. But he is willing to help if you ask and is extremely insightful. Study the book and the homework, lecture is pointless.

Easily one of th worst professors I've ever had. I don't know what everone is talking about, this guy teaches you nothing useful in class except a bunch of inconclusive demonstrations, and then he expects you to do incredibly hard problems on the test. And he assigns A TON of mastering physics assignments that will take you all day to finish. BAD
