The worst teacher ive ever had. Has no idea what he is talking about and this course is pointless. I learned nothing. I have no idea what to study for his tests and he is neither helpful or clear. He showed up late to his own exam... He seems really chill out of class and his Bosley hair treatment is working well though.

He is cool as a person but as a professor i have no clue what he is doing. All the power points are just rambled on and not clear at all. The tests have nothing to do with any of the material that he has told you to look over. Confused as to what this course is for.

Honestly the worst professor I have had so far at ECU. His lectures are very bad and half the time he doesn't make sense. Test material is irrelevant to the course and on top of that, very confusing. He has yet to respond to any emails I've sent him. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS

I've never been more disappointed at the preparedness of a teacher at ECU. The presentations seem thrown together and the last few slides seem like filler. The first test was very confusing and only half of the questions were pertaining to course material. I've used this site to find great professors but I made this account just to comment on one.

Comment:

Very boring class that I am still trying to figure out what it has to do with construction. He stammers and blabbers on and on while it is almost impossible to take notes on his lectures. Tests are nearly impossible and computer based. Attendance is also taken via your laptop so make sure to bring it to class.

Cant stand him! Missed class once b/c my car broke down, and wound up having a quiz on the lecture that day and the test mostly on that lecture. Will not email you back, and has a horrible grading scale

This guys a terrible professor. He makes his own test and they make no sense. They will have multiple right answers, not make sense, or just be irrelevant or just retarded. If you in construction you have to take it. Just get through it.

Bad professor. Says to read the book but has only a couple questions from it on tests and quizzes. Most questions on tests and quizzes have nothing to do with the class. Boring lecture. Could be an interesting class with a different teacher that graded better. Definitely do not take this unless required.

Comment:

Prof. Connell knows his CD's and he is on top of the Architecture sections of plans for sure. He is willing to work with students if there is a problem related to a test or quiz, and he generally would give back a point or two each test. Always kept an open line of communication, very easy to talk to. Highly recommended prof. I learned a a lot!

Terrible professor. Tests and quizs have nothing to do with the class. The only good part about this guy is he doesnt take attendence. If you can avoid him. You won't learn anything and his grading system is so screwed up you never know where you stand. He is a architect teaching a con. manag. class,they dont mix. He thinks architects r gods.

He is a very nice guy and I'm sure he know a lot about the construction world, but he is a space cadet in the class room. It seemed like he decided what he wanted to do right as class was starting. His grading system was beyond comprehension, and his tests were difficult because he worded questions in a confusing way. Avoid if possible.

He seems like a nice enough guy, but his class sucks. Every test is online so it's easy to cheat and use your notes, but the questions are worded in a way to where you're still guessing. Overall I would avoid taking him. Has a really weird grading system too, so you never really know where you stand in the class until the end.
