Don't take him, useless assignments that doesn't have anything to do with the class. And he doesn't update the grades until the semester is over! Takes points away for no reason

He gave too many assignments that were not helpful to the course content. He talks too much from his personal experience and not really concerned with the students opinions. He isnt a reasonable grader and doesnt update grades.

a lot of pointless writing, it for real was a waste of time, I really didn't see the point of it. He's a very nice teacher though when you approach him

This class could have easily been an online class. Most of his assignments were very repetitive and kind of pointless. He was nice but the class needs some work in order to avoid students leaving very mad and disappointed at the end of the semester.

Comment:
This course would be much better if the professor know how to assign a good amount of work for a 3 unit course. The questions in each assignment are repetitive and require you to regurgitate answers. Assignment instructions are unclear and not straight to the point. I would suggest taking this course with another professor.

Make sure you track assignment points! I turned in all assignments on time, fully completed them, met all requirements- was expecting an A and got an A-. I emailed him about assignments he didn't give me credit for and ridiculously low points for well finished papers and I never knew if he fixed it. A lot of writing, but get it done for the points!

Weekly forum posts. 3 group presentation from the book. attendence matters!! he's very knowledgable and likes to talk, a lot! He is very sweet and takes what the class has to say to heart, the students basically ran the class and assignments. no tests, one final exam and final paper . would recommend

I took the online class and there is a lot of long 40 minute videos you have to watch and summarize. He writes way too much jibbirish when assigning assignments when he could just write the instructions and get to the point. He is helpful what was rude in one e-mail. Overall if you turn everything in on time, you'll be fine

Great teacher-if you take the in class version you hear lots of good things to consider, online not so much but it is good if you take it for your second semester of internship. COnsult with him if you want to go to grad school-he wil give you good advise! A required but very useful class in that you get internship experience-good on the resume!

I took this internship class online and it was pretty easy if you did the work, but I found his postings to be distracting. Don't read what he writes in the week outline. Skip down to the numbered items. Most of it above is just jibberish. Do the work and you will get a good grade

I wasn't looking forward to class since it was about research. He made the paper writing process great for me, since I used his office hours. He is extremely helpful and caring. Use his office hours if you can. He got a little distracted at times, but overall he was one of my best professors at CSU.

Dr. Soriano is awesome. He's one of my fav professors. I utilized his office hours 24/7 because he is always willing to help. We even talked about grad school! Problem is we have one big paper, but most of our corrections tend to be from peer reviews. Tests are not too difficult. Just follow the study guide. Overall, class sucked but teacher was gr

He is very helpful and explains the material in easy to understand language. There is one paper due at the end, but you do turn sections in throughout the semester, although they are only peer reviewed, so you don't know exactly how well/bad you are doin
