Comment:

One of the greatest professors I've ever had. The guy is absolutely hilarious, and he makes what would normally be a dry and dull class into what that I actually looked forward to every week. Pop quizzes and tests might sneak up on you and throw you for a loop if you haven't kept up with the reading, but everything else is a breeze.

Franlin is an excellent teacher. You have to go to class and miss a lot of handouts and info if you don't. He kept a 2.5 hr class entertaining, and I learned a lot. Take him if you can.

EASY A if you go to the class. You give 5 major speeches (each 5 mins long) and 3 minor speeches each 2 mins long. It is a fun class and I enjoyed going each week. Your homework each week is usually to put together your speech outlines and then revise in class. Not a hard class by any means.

He can come off arrogant, but I see it rather that he's got a little sass to him-he does! It makes class a lot more interesting and fun! I was dreading this class but I'm now glad I took it with him. You'll learn so much more that just giving a speech-I left feeling very confident in the skills that were gained and strengthened in class.

Not an arrogant loser! He just knows he knows his stuff REALLY well. Take this class, and you will know how to give a speech. He's more focused on public speaking in the real world, extemporaneously, like in business, than on giving some lofty, fake speech like most speech teachers. Valuable skills. If you have to take CMUN 101, take it with him!
