She is amazing. She is passionate about what she teaches and is so well oriented with the course materials. You get both the benefit of the structured course and her own life stories.One of the best classes i ever took.

Dr. Tesfaye was very disorganized. She usually knew what she was talking about, but she frequently went off on tangents unrelated to the lecture. She also seemed to have an agenda in teaching, and frequently hammered upon the same old tired facts, totally unrelated to the course.

One of the most boring profs I have had so far. She has trouble pronouncing words, and simply states what's in the text book. In addition to being utterly disorganized, she's extremely rude to students in class.

Comment:

She is very passionate about the subject matter. Provides a new perspective and variety to anthropology with many African references, versus normal N. American ones. Lectures are out of the text book , and prof goes on tangents at times. Super nice prof
