Dr v is too hard. the hw never matches the exams or quizzes, she's vague and when going to lecture expects you to know all the info. zooms through class and to hard of course to zoom through. DO not take avoid her at all means.

she is a terrible teacher since she doesn't explain things clearly. she goes through the powerpoint slides quickly. she gives hard tests! the midterms and final is nothing like her lectures. therefore, it is useless to attend lecture. AVOID this teacher!

She gets a big kick out of being more educated than the rest of the class. Her personality is strange and she takes it out on the class by giving arbitrary and difficult questions on her tests. Just don't take the class. I got an A and the entire time

Her lectures are well organized, very thorough and very thought provoking class. A little too much work for an elective class, but this class has made me interested in Development & International Macroeconomics. Highly recommeded.

Her class was boring. Lectures was pointless cuz she does everything on ppt and basically reads off from them and notes are posted online. Her midterms are extremely HARD and UNFAIR. OH..and she doesn't believe in CURVING!! Avg for class was D!!

hw is useless. nothing like it appears on MTs. MTs get progressively harder b/c material gets more complicated. however,lectures and readings rarely correlate making the class a real challenge. forced to curve MTs which made my 2nd MT go from an F to a C!

Definitely do not recommend taking this professor. Exams are beyond hard and test you on items that were never covered...averages usually stay around the D range, so many good students fail.
