Knows his stuff, not the best at teaching it though I think it had a lot to do with his coming out of retirement. As with any accounting class work the problems and read the book and you'll be fine!

Boring! Don't take him! He's a smart guy, but he's coming back out of retirement for some reason so he really doesn't have a passion to teach anymore. I didn't go to class because I couldn't stand him anymore, so I just read the book and used the free website that came with the book. USE IT! Free online quizzes and vocab and problems, very helpful.

enjoyed him at first. as semester went on, he stopped explaining things well. he was constantly dissing ppl who didnt come to class or texted making smart remarks through class. very rude, and his rudeness decreased my interest level in the course and respect for him. not too hard of a class though, just work out problems and yourll be ok

Good teacher. His class is not easy but if you study you can do well. He is really funny to listen to. Know hoe to do all problems for the tests and pay attention to concepts b/c a lot of questions cover that. It's too bad he is retiring b/c he is a good teacher.

Doesn't clearly define what will appear on tests and worst of all he only highlights certain powerpoint slides and fails to elaborate on significant details. No extra credit, no study-guides, but at least attendance isn't required. Can be humorous occasionally, but as a whole the bad outweighs the good particularly with tough material of the course

The best way to get through this class is to read the chapter, BEFORE class and take notes on it. Do the problems as best you can before class as well. Tabor's okay, he can be pretty funny randomly but everytime I've gone to see him he's been rude and not at all helpful. Take someone else if possible.

He is possibly the most boring teacher. I stopped going to class because of his teaching methods. He talks in the same monotone voice which makes class hard. Tests are very difficult, and he is not helpful. DONT TAKE HIM!!

The class was really boring (it IS acct) and Dr. Tabor's monotone voice didn't add much to the excitement. I had to learn everything on my own from the book b/c he went over the examples and slides in class really fast. I made a low B and studied quite a bit. The tests are tougher than they need to be but overall not a bad choice of a teacher.

Class is quite possibly the most boring class I've ever had. However, he does work the problems step by step and provide powerpoints. If you do the homework and go to class at least every now and then, you should be fine.

Professor Tabor is a typical accounting teacher. He is very organized and prepared. Just study the power points, the homework problems (which he does in class), and you should get a good grade.

He really just is not a good teacher. He stresses understanding the material and not just memorizing the methods all the while not providing any conceptual framework. He simply does example problems over and over without really explaining what he is doing. If you can get familiar with the terminology and teach yourself you can do it though

Ok well I like accounting but maybe its his teaching style that I don't like. I went to class and he confused me a lot but studying his slides is a must! I actually never bought the book but that was a bad idea. Do the homework and practice problems as much as possible. Tests are rough but manageable with enough preparation.

People who didn't do well in this class obviously didn't even try. I thought I was going to hate this class prior, but it honestly wasn't that bad. The key is to read the chapters and the notes. He says at the beginning of the semester, the first 3 chapters are the most important. He was right. Learn those 3 chapters and the rest will be ok.

In his defense, he's a good teacher...he just happens to be teaching Accounting. It's simply hard to make interesting. Tests are difficult, but nothing he didn't go over in class. Print out the slides and go to class, do the homeowrk problems. Pretty hard to make an A...a B is definitely obtainable, C is easy.

this guy is a smart allec. he thinks he knows everything, and maybe he does.. but it would be nice if he did his job and taught the material. he just likes to hear himself talk and doesn't care weather you grasp the material or not.
