He's a really great and knowledgeable professor. He goes off on tangents and tells stories but they connect to what he is teaching. If you show up to class you should do well on the exams, but attendance is not mandatory.

For the first 30 min. he will talk about nothing related to economics or he will reteach what he taught from the last lecture. Then for the last 10 minutes of class, he does what I call a "knowledge dump" which is where a teacher tries to make up for wasted time by flying through the material.

Palumbo is one of Canisius' best professors. He is great at teaching the material and really gets you to comprehend it. Has a very funny sense of humor, too. If you go to class and pay attention, you'll be well prepared for the tests.

Prepare to be treated like an adult. Do the work, learn, get a good grade or don't do the work, don't learn and tell everyone how unfair he is. Your choice. A wealth of knowledge, funny, and accessible.

Best professor I've ever had. He makes the information so clear and presents in an engaging manner. He speaks clearly, articulately, and loud enough for everyone to hear. He's understand and you can come to him with any questions. Show up to class and read the textbook in order to be successful.

Honestly my favorite teacher by far at Canisius. If you attend class regularly and pay attention to what you're doing achieving a high grade is not overly complicated. If you do not pay attention this class is not for you because he will call you out. Always available for extra help, plus hes funny. Definitely take him if you can!

Really enjoyed his class. He talks loud so you won't fall asleep, his lectures take up the entire class but he calls on people, and he walks you through all the information for the class. He has two tests and one final. His tests are easy but don't forget to mark everything on the diagram!

No homework or quizzes. Grades based on 2 exams and then the final, however each exam is very easy and straightforward. He has a review class the day before each exam and reviews in class.

Palumbo is great! Highly recommended. No homework. There are only 2 tests and a final. His tests are easy if you just pay attention in class. The final can replace your lowest test grade. He holds review sessions for the tests if you ask and goes over everything that will be on the test. He's an awesome guy!

Palumbo is the man! He teaches everything very clearly, and repeats it probably a billion times for the students who don't understand the material. Overall a great guy, who actually cares about his students.

Very helpful. Has a lot of office hours and is even there on days he doesn't teach. Makes economics simple and easy to understand. As long as you come to class and pay attention, you are guaranteed a good grade. You definitely get what you put into this class. Three tests. If you do better on the third(final) it replaces the worst and counts twice!

Dr. Palumbo is an excellent teacher. He makes class fun and interesting. If you don't pay attention and / or sleep in class, however, he will purposely call on you. There are only three exams, two during the semester and a final, so it is very important to do well on them.

the tests are not that hard if u just read the book and pay attention in class people think its hard because they arent studying and therefore blame the teacher who really is explaining the material well. He does pick on people but just make sure everyone is paying attention

He is such a horrible teacher. Tries to be funny, which takes up most of the class time. He sucks at teaching. Can't relate it well and draws things wrong on the board. He clearly shouldnt be at Canisius. But then again they do have many bad teachers. He has no assigned homework and only three tests. The tests make no sense.

He talked just to hear himself talk, and is pretty full of himself. The course consists of two tests, which most people fail. If you don't know the answers to his questions in class, or even just ask him to clarify material on a test you got back, he will treat you like you're a complete moron and most likely make fun of you.

avoid him at all cost! he does not teach what is on the test and talks to just hear himself. he will not help you if you go to him for help. very very rude man and will make fun of you if you don't know the answers to his questions. only 2 tests and everyone fails them.
